I have no qualms about the skill and workmanship but - for a rather simple job that would have taken one person about an hour to complete I was charged an outrageous sum of $559 including tax. I feel this is a complete rip off.

I was dumb enough to reluctantly approve the job when I was faced with a call-out charge of about $50 plus tax, plus not knowing what another plumber would have charged, plus the convenience of having people on site with a job that needed to be done.

It is after the fact that when I witnessed what a simple job that would have taken just one person to accomplish on about one hour that I felt that I was completely ripped-off. and taken advantage of.

I have asked for a complete breakdown of expenses. Until the costs can be justified I can honestly state that I will definitely not recommend Home Stars nor Preferred Plumbing Solutions.

Great service great technician. Polite , neat , pleasant. Broke down all the different options very clearly and gave lots of options for different prices.

I initially called Preferred Plumbing Solutions for an urgent matter relating to water spraying out of my laundry room floor drain. I was able to obtain an appointment for the next morning. Ron and Daniel arrived promptly at the start of the appt window. They were able to efficiently diagnose the problem and explain how it could be resolved in layman's terms. They gave me a detailed breakdown of what the cost would be and also asked if there were any other issues that needed to be looked at.

As it happened, I had what I thought was a small leak in my kitchen sink. As it turned out, the plumbing under my sink was illegal and not up to code! (I had recently moved into this resale home). Again, they explained how the problem would have to be resolved and what the cost would be .

I was very pleased with the professionalism, courteousness, and knowledge of Ron and Daniel. They were extremely efficient in getting the work completed (same day!) in a timely manner. I would highly recommend their services.

I sent in a request for a quote. Preferred Plumbing got back to me within a few minutes. Spelled everything out without me having to ask a bunch of questions. Came when they said they were going to come. Gave me a quote before they started any of the work and finished it in the time they said they would. The invoice was to the penny of what they said it would be. Bonus points for the professionalism of the fellow (Daniel) who did the work.

I asked Preferred Plumbing Solutions Inc. to rectify the retrofit installation of my shower faucet that was performed by another plumbing company. My attempt to get the previous plumber to rectify his work to my satisfaction turned out to be a futile exercise.

Raphie from Preferred Plumbing and his team are very professional over the phone as well as in person. Raphie and Ron did the work for me. Before they proceeded, they thoroughly explained what needed to be done and if I didn't want to proceed, I was going to be charged just $49 for the service call. Raphie provided a total estimate to do the work which is not based on an hourly rate.

The work that was done by Preferred Plumbing is more professional. I'm completely satisfied and it didn't bother me that I had to pay extra to get my shower faucet looking the way it should be.

I recommend Preferred Plumbing Solutions Inc to anyone who wants to be treated fairly and get professional results.

We had a leaky faucet which needed to have the cartridge replaced. It was also discovered that we had a very slow leak in our cold water pipe so that was replaced at the same time. I felt there was some pressure to commit to doing the work that day and there was definitely an attempt to upsell.

Hooked up kitchen plumbing, installed facet and garborater, installed water line for refrigerator. Daniel came out and assessed the scope of the work. Gave me a detailed description of what will be done, we agreed on price and he Proceeded to do the work, cleaned up. It was approximately 1/2 days work. Very pleased in dealing with Daniel.

A rush of water came from under my sink, and as a result, I called Preferred Plumbing Solutions to come and do the repair. I called that evening, and received a call back within 10 minutes.

An appointment was made for the next morning. The plumber assessed the situation, and determined that a new kitchen faucet and two shut off valves were required. Having assessed the second sink, the decision was made to go ahead with the same repair, to avoid any future issue that could well be imminent. (It should be noted that it was initially recommended to only replace the shut off valves for this sink, but after some discussion, I decided to go ahead with replacing the kitchen faucet as well.)

The plumber did an excellent job on the repair. He was organized and neat and we are very happy with the work.

Raphie was amazing. He came over and inspected a situation in our laundry room that did not have an easy and obvious solution. Raphie was courteous, knowledgeable and on time. I highly recommend Preferred Plumbing for everyone's plumbing needs.
