So relieved to have found George and his Intervolt team when I was experiencing a few electrical issues at my house a few years ago! Not only did they correct all of the deficiencies left behind by another electrical company, they updated other areas that needed attention. Everything they did met code requirements and fully satisfied the ESA inspector. My only issue was they did not label the 100 amp panel. My contractor recently choose another company for the 200 amp panel upgrade. The process was bumpy compared to my experience with Intervolt!

Intervolt was contracted by my general contractor to do the electrical work on my house in 2016 - they were excellent and their staff were very professional.
With any subsequent issues this year (small things like GFI), they were very prompt in responding, thorough in their work and addressing any issues. I'm very impressed by the workmanship and focus on quality service.

This is definitely a great company to work with. They are courteous and prompt. I had an electrical short in the basement that kept re-occuring, they had to come back several times to eventually locate it.
The problem was found and they explained every step of the way what was going on.

There are very few electricians out there who will take the time to explain to you what needs to be done and not be condescending about it. To find knob and tube in your house is painful, but having a company like Intervolt come by and explain how it all can be fixed painlessly was priceless. George was super professional and knowledgeable and did a walk through and showed me exactly what needed to be done. The team came in and did the work - to code. They arranged for the Inspectors. The work passed and it was all done. No mess, no fuss just a fully functioning and safe space. I would use Intervolt in the future for any of my electrical needs.

I had inadequate service in a property which needed some repairs to the wiring and an upgrade of the panel to 200 amp service. Intervolt Electric came in an with very little disruption to the service, provided the upgrade and performed the wiring repairs that were required. I would highly recommend them if you want the job done right the first time or if you need something fixed that the "other guys" didn't get right.

Fixed my panel and moved my laundry room from a switch to spare slots in my old panel with special breakers.

We did a complete gut and rebuild of our East York home. We were taking everything down right to the studs. We had a six week timeframe and extremely tight deadlines for all our contractors. Intervolt was exceptional and stepped up. They removed all the old knob and tube and other assorted wiring from the house redesigned where all the new outlets, cat 5, cable and telephone were to go. They were efficient, professional and on time. Recently we had our basement finished and we had a contractor who was sub par. We were nervous of his electrical work – Intervolt came in right away and indentified any issues and rectified them for us. Their fees were better then we expected. It meant a lot to us that they came out right away and were very fair in their pricing.

From properly testing and isolating existing circuiting, making sure to preplan thier work and junction points, neatly drilling and wiring up the job to make sure wires are sufficiently back from potential screw damage, provide steel plate protection where it could not be done, securing wires sufficiently and laying out their work so it is labeled and nicely bundled, looping a bit of extra wire at junction boxes for future changes or adjustments, properly reading the plans and working with our on site staff to assure the best job for our customers, I just couldn't say enough about these guys. A far cry from the "throw it in the cieling cavity" type of electrician that shows no pride in their workmanship that I most often come across in the residential sector. My compliments to them all for jobs well done and my thanks that they work with us.
