Michael is an amazing home inspector. He was at the house before us and already half done the outside inspection by the time we made it there. If it wasn't for him, we would have bought a house with electrical and septic issues. We dodged a bullet! He even called the owner in to show him where the fire hazards were. He genuinely cares about safety. Within a couple of hours, we had a 77 page report with photos and everything! And that was just the basement and outside! We would recommend him to anyone and will be using him for our next potential home.

As a first time home buyer purchasing our starter home, we were very anxious, excited and nervous when we found a used home that my husband and I fell in love with. We were referred to Michael by a friend and were beyond impressed with his thoroughness and expertise. Every step of the way during the inspection, Michael explained to us what he was doing, looking for and any steps and recommendations he had. Just as his inspection, his report was very thorough and provided plenty of tips and things to watch out for, in less than three hours after the inspection. I would definitely recommend Michael for any inspection because he saved us thousands $$$ of dollars in our purchase price because of the inspection and we were able to negotiate with the buyers! Michael was very thorough and took the time to answer all my questions. I put down an offer for my potential new home and only have 2 days to get the home inspection done. I found Michael on Homestars and he can do it for me early next morning. In fact, he was on site earlier than me and start walking around the house checking the exterior. It was almost end of March but it was still a chilly morning. Nonetheless he was very carefully inspecting the bricks, concrete foundation and was very patience explaining to me which parts are well maintained and which parts might have problems later on and how to fix them. His inspection covers all the corners and every inch around the house. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a house inspected or have any concerns about a house. Excellent service. We found 4sight Inspections Inc. by searching reviews online. We usually are very skeptical of online reviews, but the reviews for 4Sight Inspections were accurate. From the initial inquiry phone call, Michael was very professional and informative. He gave us a brief explanation of his experience and qualifications and went into detail about what services he provides. On the day of the inspection, Michael arrived on time and went straight to work. He encouraged us to walk through the whole inspection with him as he explained any concerns or suggestions he had. He was very thorough in his inspection, even going into our very small crawl space to make sure the roof and insulation were in good condition. He was very informative and was willing to take the time to address our many questions/concerns. He took many pictures of his findings, which were then emailed to us in a detailed report within an hour of our inspection. We were relieved to have found a home inspector who was professional, experienced, friendly and who demonstrated a genuine care for his job, all at a reasonable price. I normally choose my services carefully whether it is an automotive repair facility or a family doctor. I originally had my mind set on a significantly more costly home inspection service that is commonly seen on network television however the reviews and feedback just did not sit well. After further review I found 4sight initially via homestars and then confirmed through another reputable verification. First off and most importantly Mike was ontime, dressed for the job and ready to go, tool belt on, smart phone in hand and we went hard for the next 3+ hours. You join him for the entire process and provides as-you-go feedback versus and overwhelming summary at the end which I much preferred. Furthermore this gives you the opportunity to ask questions and clarify any concerns. As a technology buff myself Mike embraces this too and his ability to turn your report around in an hour or two is nothing short of amazing in my opinion, in fact my report came in exactly 34 minutes after we shook hands and went on our way. There were two things that sold me on 4sight. 1) the owner is the operator with decades of experience, it is not farmed out 2) he uses thermal imaging, key for ANY home inspection, the camera can see things you cannot.

All in all I have no complaints or suggestions for improvement. The process is flawless and recommended to anyone who requires an inspection.

Micheal recently inspected our future home and my wife and I were very impressed with how thorough and detailed he was throughout the inspection. He took the time during the inspection to point out any issues to us, clarify if we had any questions, and answered any other questions/concerns we had while going through the house with him. One major issue came out of the inspection and as part of the service Micheal agreed to come back and re-inspect the area after the issue is rectified by the seller at no extra charge. To me this shows integrity and pride in the work he does, wanting to leave no stone un-turned, ensuring we as his clients are 100% happy and satisfied with his service. I had only 2 days to get a home inspection done on a property and found Michael on Homestars. I liked all the great reviews he received, researched his website and thought it was thoughtful and informative. Of the top 4 home inspector companies on homestars, Michael actually picked up his phone to talk to me! Always a good sign that you can make time to answer questions. I also liked that he is the only inspector in his company, and that way I could trust that all the positive reviews he got were regarding his work. Michael answered my questions on the phone and I was glad an online appointment was easily made. He was early for the home inspection and had a very routine way of doing things. I liked that he obviously followed a protocol, starting outside, then basement, working his way up to the attic. It was logical and methodical. I appreciate that quality in a home inspector. Michael was also very easy to talk to, open to any questions I had, and did also offer thermal imaging as part of his home inspection (rather than as an additional cost). I believe thermal imaging should just be part of the standard for home inspections, not something only the people who could afford it could have! Michael went everywhere, the roof (thankfully most of the snow had melted!), the crawlspace in the basement, the attic and everywhere in between! I liked that he cleaned up after himself after coming out of the attic to ensure he left the space as tidy as he found it. I do not hesitate to recommend him and appreciate all the advice he gave on what we had to repair. It helped with our negotiations after the inspection! Thank you again for a great job Michael!
