We had called several contractors without receiving any response when I found Crawford Contracting through the Ajax/Pickering Board of Trade. I called and spoke with Danielle, who is very friendly and easy to talk to. I described the scope of work, we set up an appointment time for Jeremy and Gord to evaluate and they arrived right on time. We received the estimate by email very quickly, and Jeremy came right on the scheduled date. We were very impressed with the quality of his work. We were charged exactly the amount we were quoted and only paid the balance once Jeremy was assured that we were satisfied. I would highly recommend Crawford Contracting, in fact we had them return a short time later for another project (with the same excellent rating) and will definitely be calling them again for a couple of other things we would like done.

I came home and discovered a significant leak orginating in my laundry room which had completely soaked through the sub floor and down to the fully finshed basement and furnace room which also housed the electrical breaker - this was serious and significant in terms of the damage caused.

Crawford Contracting Ltd. responded very quickly, they arrived at my home and very professionally introduced themselves and assessed the situation. All precautionary measures were implemented and professional grade equipment deployed to start the drying process prior to the the damage being addressed.

We had a choice to go with two other contractors for this job however after meeting the personnel who own and run this business, i did not want to go with anyone else regardless of price.

The Project Manager and Site/Project Lead were brilliant - they put my mind at ease and guided me through exactly what needed to be done.

Not only were Crawford competitive it was the quality of their work and the professional engagement through out the process. They have the experience, knowledge and execute with a high regard to quality and customer satisfaction.

After the July 2013 flood in Toronto the Crawford company did the rebuild of my basement. The various workers that came into my home were thoughtful, helpful and well-skilled. The work was completed on schedule and within budget. I appreciated their sense of 'design'. On occasion, they suggested options that would "look better" and still be within my budget. My downstairs living space is lovely. It's not just a basement anymore!

I had a water main break and flood my basement. My Insurance Agent referred me to Crawford Contracting. From the very first contact, i can honestly say, I felt comfortable with the people I was dealing with. This was a messy situation involving the municipality and insurance and I had no idea where to start. Jeremy and Danielle did so much of the leg work with the Municipality and Insurance Company on my behalf.

They showed up when they said they would and at the beginning and end of each day updated me with pertinent information and outlined the work done.

They also were looking out for my health and safety with regard to mold mitigation and removal.

I felt so comfortable with them with the clean up and mold removal, I hired them to rebuild the basement which was not covered by insurance.

Sadly, I was affected by the Ice Storm in December of 2013 and the first call I made was to Crawford Contracting. With the scope of damage and volume of claims, I could not afford any delays to get repairs done. I knew that I would be well taken care of.

I would highly recommend them without any hesitation.

We had horrible paneling in oNe room of our basement, no storage, not enough electrical outlets and it was damp and cold.
Crawford Contracting took those challenges and created a warm and cozy environment for the kids to play in with ample storage for all of our odds and ends.

Beautiful custom bathroom was done by Crawford Contracting Ltd. Amazing work and always kept in constant communication with us. Love my glass/ marble stand up shower. Jeremy was amazing with the design of the bathroom and was a big help on the materials. We will use Crawford Contracting Ltd on our next renovation project.
