It was a pleasure to work with John from Azanart.
He is a very skilled artisan who takes a great deal of pride in his work. Our dining table has a a solid oak table top with beautiful brass legs that look like metal! We are so happy with the results. The dining room table was the second project John did for me. He designed and created a beautiful deck with a pergola for our backyard. John discusses and listens to your ideas thoughtfully and makes excellent suggestions to enhance the project. You won’t be sorry if you hire John.

We had them install a new deck for us last year. Our previous one was terrible and no way up to code. They provided the design and gave us options on the types of wood we could use (we ended up going with the Trexx engineered wood). They also provided us an option to have a tempered glass for part of the railing.

The work itself went well. They did the:

- Demolition
- Installation of Sonotubes
- Construction of the deck
- Installation of the glass for the deck

We are really happy with the result. It was figuratively night and day between what we had and what we got in its place. It's safer than what we had before (proper steps and hand railing) and provides more area in general. They were great to deal with. We found them to be very professional and nice to interact with. Would use them again in the future.

A renovated beach house in Toronto, now home to two puppies, needed a fence to contain their enthusiasm, but also one that would have panache. John worked with my wife to design a masterpiece, and he only got better from there. The material was alumninum, custom painted to match the house, and installed to absolute perfection.
And through all of this John was and is one of, if not the most professional artists and executors that we have ever worked with.

We had John replace the cedar shingle roof on our shed and we couldn’t be happier! He is a perfectionist that pays attention to detail and takes pride in his work. Our shed which is over 20 years old was in dire need of repair and he did an amazing job. I would highly recommend John to anyone and will definitely be using his services for future work. I have commissioned custom furniture for personal and work in New York, LA and London regularly - the final product, care and service I received from Az An Art Woodworking was some of the best I have ever received. Don't bother looking anywhere else - this is the best in Toronto area.

John designed a beautiful new custome vanity, appliance caddy, mirror, lights and medicine cabinet complete with molding and new sink and taps. (3rd project he's done for us, working on a 4th!)

We highly recommend John. He's not only extremely talented but also very creative, trustworthy and professional. He's a perfectionist and delivers!

We asked John Oliviera to design and construct 3 built in units throughout our new house. We gave him some minor details that we wanted reflected in each area and left him to design the remainder. He came back with beautiful designs with detailed features that make each unit functional and the focal point of each room. During the installation phase, he took great care in ensuring the dust and mess were kept to a minimum and cleaned up at the end of each day.

After searching for months unsuccessfully for a powder room vanity, we then asked John to build a custom vanity. He turned this piece around within a week so that the entire installation of all the pieces could be done at the same time. The cost was very reasonable and the piece, colour and design was exactly how we wanted them to be.

Finally, John created a fireplace vanity for us. We left him to design it completely on his own and couldn't be happier with the final product.

Overall, we were extremely happy with the work that John and his assistant did on all projects. He was so easy to work with and open to our ideas. He kept us informed of progress along the way and stayed within his budget and expected completion date. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Azanart for any custom work.

My wife stumbled upon John online when she was searching for someone to reinstall the lower cabinetry of our kitchen when the contractor we were using did not work out. He responded to her email in a timely and professional manner and set up an appointment to look at the project and give us a quote and timeline of when he could do the work. John was very accommodating and reinstalled the kitchen in on a weekend knowing we were eager to finish or current major main-floor renovation.
His patience and diligence is evident when he spent a significant amount of time trying to put back a complicated wire storage system that had us all baffled. He also graciously offered to make some filler pieces that went missing and come back at a later date to reinstall them.
It is evident he is passionate about the career path he has taken and he is an intelligent, creative and professional young individual.
We hope we have the opportunity to use him on other future projects in our home and will definitely recommend him to friends and family who are in the need of a fine 'cabinet maker".
