We had our chimney restored a week ago (Oct 2, 2012) by Jonathan, Jim's employee, who was excellent to work with (which is why I rated the satisfaction as 5/10 and not 0).
The chimney is on my in-laws house who are living out of country and who are also paying the bill. There was no invoice sent to us which was fine, we weren't in a hurry and thought they weren't either given that no bill was ordered. A week later, we received a written note from Jim asking us to call the office to make payment which was fine - we planned calling the following day to pay the bill since we received the bill after hours, when we got home from work.
11 Hours later, at 6:30am in the morning - Jim appears on my front doorstep, ringing my door bell. I answered the door not recognizing him since he wasn't the one I dealt with to do the work, he immediately asked whether I got his note which I did - 11 hours prior. He then began demanding that I get a Visa to pay my bill. I attempted to explain that my in-laws would call soon (in a few hours) to pay the bill. I don't know what else was going on with Jim that morning - but he proceeded by threatening that he would tear the chimney off of our house if payment wasn't received and that he would be back the following morning!
In the end - the work that Jim's employee (Jonathan) did was excellent. Great professionalism and I would recommend HIM to anyone. Jim on the other hand was terribly and irrationally unprofessional and for that, I advise you choose another company to do your work since there's obviously no telling what experience you'll have.
