From the beginning to the end Gilad was professional in attitude and execution. He explained the scope of the job clearly, was fair with the quote and responded in a timely manner to questions and adjustments. Darcy and Sean the team that built the canopy were respectful, efficient, diligent, skilled, responsive, friendly and tidy. This was a replacement deck for the wood deck that they built for us 16 years ago. They replaced it with a TREX deck and aluminum railings for the ease of maintenance. I hired Deck Space to build my composite deck after doing extensive research and getting quotes from several other reputable alternatives. The team at Deck Spec built a beautiful pressure treated wood deck exactly according to specs. The project came in on time and on budget and truly over-delivered on expectations. The team was friendly, respectful and excellent at communication throughout the project. They did not leave any mess behind and were careful to keep the site clean throughout the work. The privacy screen that they constructed is stunning and they were very good at providing ideas and options to make it as beautiful as possible while providing the coverage that we wanted. I asked Gilad for estimate for expansion of an old 6 by 12 (10 high) wooden deck to a 12 by 12 composite and glass railing.
The recommendation was to rebuild because of the code requirements and the look of the completed project.
I also asked to handle the building permit with the city.
We got a fare pricing (was compared with others) in timely manner.
The permit issuing took a while due to the city process, Gilad was on top of it all the time, including several calls to the permit office supervisor.
Once project started it was completed in less than a week.
The team worked efficiently and left the premises clean and organized in the end of each working day.
The outcome is amazing, now my neighbor wants the same.
The entire team and the supporting staff were very plasent to work with.
