The shingles on our 15yr home was deteriorating badly. Looking online we found the National Star crew with shining reviews and decided on getting a quote. Ilir, the crew foreman, came promptly and spent a lot of time checking out the roof. He found many deficiencies and explained how each was going to be fixed. Our roof didn't even have tar paper! and flashing was either missing or not properly fit. The price negotiation was fair in my opinion for the upscale quality I was expecting (they did the home directly across from us last year and it looked good). Just prior to job day Ilir was very helpful with suggesting shingle colour (his suggestion was the best) and we upgraded the bathroom vents from 3" to 4" (I did the hookups in the attic later). During the job I was able to inspect the quality of the work and found it to be excellent. After the job was finished the cleanup was thorough with all trash and hazards like old nail picked up (our neighbour on one side had their home re-shingled 4 weeks before and their crew left a number of nails in our grass and driveway). There was one tiny gap that Ilir came back two weeks later after getting done another job and made doubly sure with two screws that it was permanently dealt with. These guys are very professional and deserving of the highest rating. You may pay a bit more then the cheaper crews but you get back quality and value in return from a group of experienced roofers who take no shortcuts.

It is very crucial that the gentleman you talk to is able to do a thorough inspection of your roof, attic and any other parts of the house that are connected to the roof. We want to make sure we are never called back to a job, so we take the time to ask you a lot of questions and properly inspect your house. There is things that we cannot know before stripping the old roof off, but the client is always informed of any unexpected work that needs doing.
Something to note is that we are our own estimators, so what we put in writing is what will be done. You as the client will be invited up to see the result of the work. If you cannot make it, we will be showing you pictures and videos of moments during the work and the final product.
