We purchased 2 vouchers through TeamBuy for the painting of 200 sq ft wall space in our home. We were looking to use these 2 vouchers to cover a portion of our home, but were hoping to get a reasonable price on painting the entire condo. Kurt, the owner, and our consultant, visited our home twice and spent a great deal of time helping us find the exact right colour choices for our home.
We decided after our free consultation, to paint the entire condo through this company, even though we had a few other options available. We are very glad after all was done, that we decided to go with Unparalled Paint. The workers that Kurt sent out to do the painting were effective, personable, and very professional. Denis and Remi were awesome. They completed our entire condo in one day (aprox 1200 sq foot condo) and worked hard to get it all done in a timely manner. They were very conscientious, and careful to avoid any paint spatters as they worked. This was very important to us as we were very concerned about our floors. We were especially impressed by their attention to detail and how they worked around trim and door frames. Not a stitch of painters paint used, and no mess to clean up afterwards! We really appreciated that.
We would highly recommend this company, and especially the painters that worked on our condo.

I was promised two cans of paint but received only one, when I questioned I was told I was mistaken, which was not at all true. I did not argue because I knew there would be not point. You can get the same work done for way cheaper. overall not happy with this dishonest company.

You purchased a $69 dollar voucher through an online deal company. When you did not want to get your second room painted we offered you compensation for your voucher knowing that the deal company would most likely not refund you (Which they did not. That has nothing to do with Unparalleled Paint).
The retail value of the paint we sent you was $57.99 per gL.

Unfortunately after extending you a 3 month grace period to pay your invoice for $140, giving you a great paint job and compensation for your unused voucher, you were still not satisfied.
This goes to show that no matter how far above and beyond you go, you can't always please everyone. - Unparalleled Paint

Bought a FabFind deal of $69 for 200 sq ft. I applied to painting my bathroom. After a consultation by Unparalled Paint, the order proceeded. While there was some confusion with the booking, the work itself was great. The painter arrived on time, and did a quality and neat job in the estimated time.

First off.... Who is Karl Wallis? That is not the name of the owner of this company. I would like to point out to anyone contracting anyone for a service to their home should really be aware of what you are being offered. Upaint was referred to me by a colleague of mine. I hadn't known about their coupons upon the day of the consultation, however they were kind enough to let me be aware of the promotion and I received a bedroom ( more or less within the 200 sq ft wall range) and my living room. I'd paid a little extra for an accent wall in the living room. They really delivered results. The painters that did the job were friendly and got everything done before I got home from work (approx 8 hours). The only issue I had was a patch on the wall that was a bit lighter than the others (due to a fix using plaster). I emailed and they came back within the week. I hope no one else will be totally discouraged from this product. My advice to potential customers is to email the company with measurements and pictures of the space you want painted before buying on TeamBuy. Hope this helped!!

Karl originally tried to say I could only use one of the coupons from Team Buy and that I was only painting one room since the 2 are attached. The original floor plan to the house shows they are 2 separate rooms. He finally conceded to accept both vouchers. I told him I wanted off white for the ceiling and trim. This however was not written on the contract (both our fault). We agreed that I would buy the 2 new gallons of paint and he would pay for the extra hour of painting. When I went into the room 2 days later to check it in daylight (I had been ill), I noticed the deep freezer was now unplugged and there were two gouges in the wall/baseboard. I spoke to Karl to tell him about it and his painter refused (or Karl) to own up to what they had done. He offered to paint the gouges but I would not want them back in my home. I will fill the holes in and repaint myself. I also am taking the loss on the food from the freezer that defrosted - Karl refused to accept any responsibility for it.

Company Response: I’m sorry that you had a bad experience. However, as the business Owner we tried to help you in every way possible. #1) Unfortunately you misunderstood the deal promotion, but we conceded and provided double the savings so that you could utilize both vouchers, even though they were not applicable for the same room #2) The 2 estimators on site both remember you choosing White for your ceiling color. However, since it was not documented (Ceiling White is not normally documented as it is the default, all other colors would be considered custom) we accepted part of the responsibility and took care of the labor cost to repaint as it had already been painted White by the painter. #3) As part of our 2 year warranty we offered to come back in and fix the marks you said were on your wall, even though the painter said he was very careful when leaving and does not know when that could have happened (Our 2 year warranty covers ALL issues whether you are at fault or us). #4) The Deep freezer was not unplugged or moved by the painter. This preparation was done prior to our arrival, hence why we would not claim responsibility.
It is unfortunate that after doing all of the above we were still not able to satisfy you and you extended a 0 rating, especially since there seemed to be no issues mentioned with the actual paint job.

Had a very small bathroom painted and was very pleased with the result. They came on time and did an excellent job. They used Sherwin Williams paint and applied 2 coats, and painted the baseboards in 3 hours.

I bought a teambuy deal for 200sq ft of coverage of paint. When they come to access the room they tell me my room is not covered because its 200 sq ft of wall space. The charge was $200 more for a 130 sq ft bedroom. Teambuy would not refund. Terrible company gauge you with the prices buyer beware. Very unfair please tell me what room is possibly 200 square ft of walk space it's impossible no room is that small.
