I learned long ago that even jobs that appear to be simple , such as junk removal, require real expertise. 1 Hr junk not only provided a great price, but more importantly exceptional service and skill. They came prepared to do whatever it took to get the things out of the basement. They even managed to remove a stove that had been in the basement when I bought the house more than 20 years ago. I had been told it was too big to get out after the stairway had been renovated. They got it out! I have used similar services in the past with mixed results. They came with clipboards, checklists and complicated price structures. Not this time. This time I got people who clearly cared about doing the job right, had the expertise to get it down and as a bonus were pleasant to be around. They are now the only company I will call.

We called 1hrjunk based on a recommendation from a friend. We had old furniture (dresser, chairs etc), scrap wood and old boxes cluttering the basement. They were prompt, courteous, careful (no paint scratches on the basement stairway) and reasonably priced. I have previously used a nationally franchised junk service but Chris did just as good a job at lower cost.

We recently downsized from a five-bedroom house (plus a two-storey carriage house) that we had been in for 21 years -- with more coming into the house and carriage house each year than going out. Although we were moving to a four-bedroom house, we still had way more possessions than we could ever hope to fit in the new place. We had Chris and his helpers come twice to our old house before we moved, to cart off what didn't make the cut. They were punctual, reasonably priced, courteous, and understanding of the stress we were under to make this move happen. We used this service as a alternative to renting a bin. That way we didn't have to throw everything in ourselves. Besides, Chris & Co. have way more personality than a bin. We highly recommend 1 Hour Junk. (We still have too much stuff and are preparing their next pickup.)

I just recently sold my home and had few extra things to get rid of so I called 1hr Junk and Chris and his team were there within the hour ready to clear my old junk away. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for junk removal quick and easy and at an affordable price. I will be using these guys again in the future, great job boys!

A heavy rainfall flooded my garage and left me with heaps of sopping wet boxes and random stuff that had been gathering dust for years. In a fit of ambition, I cleaned out the garage and had an ugly heap of junk sitting on my driveway. As I was leaving town the next day, I had to deal with the fetid heap ASAP. I called 1hrjunk and explained my dilemma. They responded promptly - coming to my home at 7:00 in the evening on a Saturday! They arrived precisely when promised. The two men were thoughtful, courteous and very efficient - and handsome to boot! I felt that the price was very reasonable especially since it was after working hours. I recommend 1hrjunk most highly! I will definitely call upon them again!

Wow - Chris and team were polite, hard working and offered a great service. I don't usually write reviews, but felt obliged to sign up and write one for Chris after he help me remove waste from a current renovation. They both worked hard for over an hour and helped pack the truck so we could fit everything in one load. Before leaving they swept up the left overs and left my patio and house clean. Thanks again - I would highly recommend 1hr Junk!

One Hour Junk is top of the line when it comes to junk removal. The showed up on time, worked quickly and conducted themselves very professionally all for a reasonable price. I had a fair amount of construction material left in my back yard after I was finished renovating my home. They came, removed everything and left my back yard spotless. I appreciated there hard work and would recommend them to anyone I know that needs junk removed. They truly do a great job.
