Plumbing & Heating Paramedics

Plumbing paramedics has done numerous jobs for our rental property (hot water tank, new toilets, dishwasher installationand fixed leaking pipes). They are extremely reliable and really tell you what needs/should be done to minimize future issues. All around great guys and company!

Done in a short time frame, excellent clean up, up and running fast and effective. Excellent work, it was greatly appreciated. Plumbing Paramedics is our number 1 plumbing, heating company. Highly recommended.

Removed drain clog in kitchen sink. Fast friendly service. Have had no issues with the drain since. Highly recommended.

We called Plumbing Paramedics because of the great reviews but this was a very disappointing experience.

The plumber who arrived advised us that the nature of the job was difficult and gave us a quote of $1100. Shocked at the price, he offered a discount and waived the dispatch fee to bring it down to $863. He said the work was difficult because he needed to cut the pipe from the wall to repair the leak. We agreed and trusted him about the severity of the work. Two hours later he was done and ready to go. I was at work so my wife paid him. At home, I was disappointed to see that he didn't do the work as explain to us. He didn't cut the pipe so one would assume the work was easier than initially expected. The cost however did not change. Two hours and less then $50 of material meant that they charged us $400 / hour. I understand it was piece work and not on time and material.

I feel that they overestimated the severity and used fear and the fact they were there to do the work on short notice as the plumber's advantage for us to agree to the $863.

This wasn't a good experience. All we wanted was to be treated fairly and we felt taken advantage of.

I wouldn't recommend this company.
