Carefree Moving

This week we moved with Carefree Moving. What made me deciding on them is their high score so, I gave them a chance. The whole time we were on the phone with Russell (I guess he represents costumer service) and we were coping with their manager Nathan. Both were pleasant and professional. So, to be short, I liked first of all: 1. they came on time 2. They came prepared with the truck ready to move our property (I mean it was clean, empty and equipped); 3. The team didn't waste the time, but working hard; 4. The driver wasn't just watching the process, but was helping the guys too and finally 5. They kept their promises. Not the last would be to mention that our moving was done within the scheduled time frame which is great! It's been our first big move and I am crazy happy that it went without problems. To be honest I was ready to face some issues, but thanks God nothing serious happened. If someone needs an advice, I would recommend being prepared ahead of time. We did our packing a day before using crew's help too. It went pretty fast with their help. But for the future, I would definitely start packing in a week or two before the actual moving. Also the guys helped us with organizing our stuff upon arrival to our new home. Honestly, I am more than happy! Unpacking went fast, well I still have lot to do now, but all the duties which guys were in charge with, been completed excellent.

The communication both prior & during the move is great! I also really liked the full explanation that the mover provided me prior to the start of the move, which left me with no unanswered questions, lot of time and effort on both the outbound and inbound parts of my move.

Not too long ago we've done an incredible moving with Carefree Moving assistance. I call it "incredible" because I didn't expect that a long distance moving Montreal - Toronto can be so perfect. Usually I am not lucky with getting perfect services. Not this time though! The supervisor was always on the phone, keeping me informed all the time. First day was scheduled for packing and loading. The movers packed half of our possessions and some stuff we packed by ourselves. They provided me with certain techniques regarding how to pack properly. The guys looked professional starting from their uniformed look and ending up with the way they work. They have confident motions which prove their experience and undoubtedly these movers are professional, plus very friendly, and most important - not lazy. The second moving day was all about unloading. Our truck arrived to Toronto at 9 AM. Same scenario, same confident and careful movers and my moving is done! To mention that the guys are working litter-less! They cleaned up the area and it had been a great addition to their impeccable service. They took away all the cardboard and stuff which goes to garbage. Also to mention is that I was very impressed by their booking service. I've got answers to all my questions and as I already mentioned above they kept me informed all the time. I didn't find any damages or missing stuff, although it's been a long distance move. If somebody asks me for some advice, I would recommend staying organized. Do not forget to start packing ahead of time and label your boxes. Or ask for the packing services like we did (well, we did it 50X50). Also do not forget to find a babysitter or someone watching your pets. We called some friends for a backup help. It turned out to be unnecessary but it was fun. Overall I am happy that my move in behind and want to thank again Carefree Moving for impeccable service!

Last year I helped my cousin to move from her three bedroom home to a new one in Markham and they've been using these movers. So, when it came to decision to hire movers for myself this year, I decided on them too. I saw how quick and careful they were completing their duties so I didn't have any doubts. My movers came in the morning as been scheduled. They brought boxes, blankets, portable wardrobes with them. First they covered my floors and rails on the stairs with some blue cover. Then, they start packing whatever was left. They wrapped each item, like dishes, glasses and so on in paper and used padding made of bubble wrap. What interesting is, that dishes must be placed in the box on their side, not like horizontally like we usually do. That was new for me. So, when all the boxes were stuffed and sealed, they start moving all things from second floor downstairs. Most difficult was to move our king size mattress, of course. So, two guys were dealing with large object and one was carrying boxes and helped to load everything into the truck. I am happy that everything went smooth, without some difficulties. The unloading went even faster. Then we realized that we forgot my BBQ in old place and they had to go there again, but didn't charge me for that. So, my moving was fast and fun. As about charges, it was decent, affordable and I am happy with the result.

As a repeated customer, I personally was able to verify the proficiency of Carefree Moving employees. Two years ago I hired them the first time, and now I tried them once again. I could see the upgrades they’ve done regarding their service. Now they offer more payment alternatives and packaging supplies. They keep on being nice with the clientele; they are still affordable, prompt and careful. We are pleased with moving service we've got this time as well. Thank you and keep it up!

The 3 gentleman who did the move for me were excellent…..they were polite, careful, and worked extremely hard to do the move in a timely manner on a very cold and rainy day. I extend my sincere appreciation to them for this. As for the timing, all worked out very well, we managed to get the key to the new condo just as the moving truck was arriving there ……. I will hopefully not be moving again for another few years, but you can be assured that I will use your group again and will highly recommend your services to others.
