I had Enviro Surface Removers come into our home to remove the lino/subfloor. We had approximately 500 square feet to remove. This job consisted of stapled and glue wood subfloor and would have taken myself a week or two to complete. Enviro sent 3 gentlemen and took them 6 hours. The crew very friendly as I was curious on how the system worked. After they left, the floor was clean and level from any screws or glue. I plan on renovating the master bath in spring and will call on them to remove floor, tub and shower as they do more than just floors. Very good experience and job was completed promptly.

We had tried to remove the floor tile & back splash ourselves but found it had been installed very well. It would have taken us a week of hard labor. The gentlemen from Enviro showed up on time, worked extremely hard with hardly a break, and did a great job of cleaning up. They were polite, clean and very hard working and stayed into the early evening to finish. I was extremely happy and would highly recommend them.

After back-breaking attempts to remove 25 yr old, 6" ceramic tiles, inhaling superfine dust even with a mask on, I searched online for a better solution & discovered EnviroSurface Removers. Blair was extremely helpful on the phone, & his team came out with very reasonable notice to complete the job. Not only was all the tile removed & the floors ground down to like-new condition, but there was virtually NO DUST anywhere. The team was pleasant, thorough, & efficient. I needed to replace my main floor flooring and it consisted of tile and carpet. Roughly 700 sqft of carpet and 600 sqft of tile. My kitchen backsplash that consisted of 12x12 tile needed to be ripped out as well. The day of the rip out Bob showed up with his crew and completed the job in ONE day and did an amazing job. The house barely had any dust and the floor looked like new! They got rid of the tile,carpet and baseboards! Blair was great to deal with and made sure to follow up and was very informative during the quote process. I would highly recommend Enviro Surface Removers!

I was removing all the tile on our main level and very hesitant about using any company because I was reading on line that some companies will damage the sub flooring. I was completely amazed at how perfect the sub flooring was when they finished. And they were extremely fast with 6 or 7 people working. I went to work and they were finished before I arrived home. Bob has a very efficient team! I highly recommend them!

We had been dreading our renovations for the past two years as it would mean needing to remove tile on a solid concrete slab. We're in a condo downtown, so this seemed like a daunting task, noisy, messy, and likely to annoy neighbours. One night I googled to see if someone could help out and came across Enviro Surface Removers. From initial contact, our experience has been nothing but positive. Blair responded within an hour, and as they were doing a job in the building next door, Bob came by to take a look. I booked them, and in one day they removed all floor tile, as well as bathroom wall tile. I had left for the day to not have anything to do with it, and came home to super smooth concrete floors and a cleaned up place. We have since installed large floor tiles without any issues and are very happy with our new floors. Very happy with the work, great communication, friendly, and they leave your place clean. Five star company with fast professional staff. Blair, Bob and their team showed on time and completed the task at hand quickly and as advertised. We purchased a home with slate floor in the kitchen and back half of the main floor that we wanted removed. Enviro Surface Removers were recommended whole heartedly to us by a flooring provider. Right from my first call for an estimate I was impressed! Blair and his team were able to fit us in quickly and they did an amazing job. The subfloor was preserved saving us significant $ on installation and the area was left cleaner than they found it. Cannot say enough good things.

My husband and I were in the early stages of a home renovation and I had decided that I would remove some of the carpeting and old hardwood myself. Unfortunately, as a I began removing some of the hardwood, it quickly became obvious that I was outside my level of ability. The hardwood had been superglued to a particle board subfloor and as I pryed up the floor boards, parts of the subfloor were coming up with them.

In consultation with my contractor, he brought in Blair Berg from Enviro Surface Removal who responded the next day by coming to site and investigating the flooring. Blair determined that the particle board was sitting on 3/8" plywood which is not up to current standards. In addition, the particle board is not the appropriate material on which to lay a new hardwood floor. Blair also brought in his partner Bob Logan on a Saturday to get a second opinion. In the end, it was agreed that all of the particle board and existing surfaces (lino & hardwood) would have to be removed before a new layer of plywood could be installed as the subfloor.

The removal team, Senior, Junior & Darko arrived on time and quickly set to work. The work was completed within one long full day and the work area was left clean and tidy.

Blair and everyone at Enviro were great to work with and their speedy response to my emergency were very much appreciated. They truly went above and beyond in saving me and my project timeline.

The enviro surface removal crew was professional, knowledgeable and seriously hard working. Darco, James Sr and James Jr did an amazing job of our floor removal.
