We live in a detached home built in the 1930s. The kitchen was too small and the adjoining dining room was dark and little used. We wanted to remove the wall between them and design the two areas so that they would not only integrate with each other but with the rest of the house. Stacey provided us with preliminary sketches that showed a spectrum of options, which was very helpful in terms of refining our choices. Her final design was precisely what we wanted -- one that respected our home’s character while providing a more functional and inviting kitchen/dining area. Over the years, several of our neighbors (whose homes have the same layout as ours) have used the same approach in remodeling their own kitchen/dining areas. Indeed, one neighbor, on our recommendation, hired Litwin Davies Design, with excellent results. Working with Stacey was a pleasure and we highly recommend her.

From the very beginning of this project, I knew I was in good hands. Stacey's keen eye for design and her understanding of my final vision along with the knowledge of my budget and time restraints helped make this project run smoothly and efficiently. Stacey took control yet always allowed my voice to be heard and ensured the final decision was mine. She made sure I was aware of every detail and any delays or concerns - which are inevitable in this type of project. Sadly, I cannot recommend Litwin Davies Design Ltd. Our home flooded and needed to renovate the entire home. We had a very tight budget and time frame. Stacey was suggested to us and we did not look into references or reviews. Our misfortune. Her plans and expenses exceeded our budget but we had committed and proceeded but kept second guessing her plans and suggestions that were simply not our needs. We were suckered and then she said it would take 4 months for approval which she previously led us to believe would not be the case. We could no longer have the family living out of a suitcase so we moved back in a gutted home to hear her delayed news. Heart broken we cut our losses and severed the contract which lead to a brutal lawsuit knowing we had no money to begin with. Our lives are much happier without her influence and control. I would NEVER recommend this company to my worst enemy.
