On September 22, 2014, we contracted Progressive Concrete, whose office is at 4420 Westminster Highway, to tear up our existing driveway and replace it with a new one. We had not heard ot Progressive until we noticed that they were replacing the driveways in two other residences in the area. On inspecting these two other residences and observing how well they prepared the area by removing the existing sand, replacing it with gravel, then laying down 1/2 inch rebar, we felt they were the best people for the job. Not only was the prep well done, the concrete on the driveway is 5 inches thick and 4 inches in the entranceway to the house. During the course of the work, Beau Sumel, the President of Progressive Concrete, was on the site daily to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. Not only was Beau friendly and accommodating, his workers were also very pleasant and eager to please. We have no hesitation in recommending Progressive Concrete to install new, or replacing old existing, driveways. We believe that the Company's motto is "create it and we will build it. Oh so true! While not the cheapest, they are definitely best. Always bear in mind you pay for what you get.
