We were first time home buyer. Rick did an amazing job. He was extremely thorough. He uses the latest technology to complete the job. If you are going to hire a home inspector, make sure they use an infra-red camera to detect the quality of insulation, and a moisture detector to detect water in the walls. His standard package had the tax included. We paid extra to use his dog to give us peace of mind about the mould in the house. Because there was very little mould detected he told us we would be wasting our money to get the air quality test. Highly recommend

I recently had a home inspection done by Rick Clayton of Real Home Inspections Ontario. I was really impressed by his thoroughness as he completed the walk through. He used an infra red camera and moisture meter during the inspection, which was very reassuring as to see as a first time home buyer. Had my first home inspection done on my new home by Rick at Real Home Inspections. As someone who doesn't know a lot about plumbing or electrical standards, I was very impressed with how he took the time to put it into terms I could understand. He is very educated and you can tell he loves his job!! I appreciated him taking the time to give me his honest opinion and not try to sell me on unnecessary home improvements.
