Best service and great office people to deal with. From the quote to the service to the bill was a great experience. Will use again!!

Edit: Scott called my daughter today in response to a voice message she left last week. Scott indicated he would refund $45 + GST. According to Scott, this is the portion of the work specifically for the seam. This is not accurate given the total cost of the invoice and the work that was done. Since I was left with the original problem unresolved, this refund should be for the total amount of the invoice less parts.

Initial Review:

Scott did not fix the problem, and has yet to respond to my email that he requested I send him detailing activities to date (after he spoke with my husband since he would not return my call). I am writing this review to warn others so they don't have to go through my same experience as I don't seem to be getting a response from this company.

Please see email below. I will also be calling the BBB to advise of my experience - particularly that I paid for the work that did not resolve the issue. As a senior on a limited income, this is a terrible way to conduct a business.

When I told my daughter what happened, she told me about HomeStars and helped me find a reputable company to help fix the problem.

Pic taken today. Continuous drip of rain on corner. I hired your company to fix this problem. You put in a sealant twice. Said if that did not fix the problem, it needed a piece to join the two gutters. You did not put in the piece as your man advised, and the gutters continued to leak. I phoned your guy, he came a third time, looked and left. I phoned you, you said it was leaking over the top and this was normal. You said I cost you money and you were not coming out again. It is not leaking over the top, but through the gutter seam. I paid the bill, but have the same problem I hired your company for in the first place.

West Coast are very courteous and hard working. Steve and Anthony did a great job on our windows - inside & out - as well as on our concrete paths & patios. We have used them several times, and will continue to do so. They provide excellent value and quality. I would recommend them to anyone.

We noticed that our basement was flooding and discovered it was due to our downspout coming off the wall. We called a couple companies for quotes. Being first-time homeowners, we didn't really know what to
expect.

A couple of companies came and gave us written quotes which they leave in your mailbox (they drop by to inspect during the day, so we didn't have to be at the house, which is great).

West Coast Home Services called me with the quote instead, and I didn't think to ask for a written quote. Their verbal quote was the lowest of the companies so we accepted theirs. The work was done in a timely and professional manner, which we are very pleased with, however when the invoice came it was approx. $75 higher than the verbal quote.

Because we had nothing in writing, we didn't bother disputing it...as the price still seemed fair, but just remember to get your quotes in writing!!
