CityBoxes - Rental Moving Boxes

We decided to give CityBoxes a try for our last move (never used a box rental service before). Normally we

try and obtain cardboard boxes from friends, offices and out in alleyways, but doing that is tiresome and they aren't very durable.

We placed our order for 30 boxes, and Andrew (the CEO) showed up at our place a few weeks before moving date with the bins (which are sturdy, clean and beautiful, and seemed to be the perfect dimensions to fit just about anything at 18" long). He ended up bringing up 40 boxes, and told us that if we didn't need the extra 10, he would refund us for those unused. Glad he offered because we ended up using all 40!

It was raining that day and he apologized that the boxes were wet (he even dried most of them off before coming up to our condo). He had other packing supplies available for sale in his truck, which he didn't pressure us to buy, but it was nice that they were available. He also throws in labels and zip ties for free, which is amazing. The best part is free delivery and pickup.

We rented the boxes for 3 weeks, and got them delivered 2.5 weeks before moving day, which gave us half a week to unpack, which was sufficient (and forced us to unpack!) :) Andrew said that if we needed them for an extra day, he was flexible in that.

Overall, a great service, totally worth the money, backed by top-notch customer service. I would use CityBoxes.ca for any future move!
