Upon using them on a few projects and building a "very friendly" relationship - they were supposed to show up to complete our project...when we did not hear back we called them only to find their phones were de-activated, domain name & wcb had been cancelled and they were and still are no where to be found!!!!!

We got great news today from our new home insurance broker: our place now meets all of their strict requirements for full coverage.
Thanks in large part to the top-notch work performed by Kevin and Tracie at HAVLIN ELECTRICAL.
Our previous insurer demanded a total upgrade of our 40-year-old aluminum wiring system, so I desperately called several contractors.
Kevin answered in about four minutes, calmed my nerves and arrived that same Friday afternoon.
He and Tracie easily assessed our situation and presented a very reasonable quote for a 1.5 day job.
Monday morning they began their thorough mission to pig-tail every switch, receptacle and fixture that needed upgrade.
They also repaired or replaced several that had been previously mis-installed.
Throughout the project they took time to explain their procedures and make recommendations where necessary.
All done with much appreciated re-assurance, and dazzling sense of humour.
Their clear professional ELECTRICAL INSPECTION REPORT was instantly accepted by our home insurer.
On time, on budget, mission accomplished - what else could we ask for?

I had wanted to buy my parents a new chandelier as the old one was outdated. I went to the house and put it in... wrong of course :) I knocked out the power to the kitchen and living room late Saturday night!! Called Kevin at 8am Sunday morning and he was at my parents all the way out in Maple Ridge by 9:30! He did an amazing job, didn't charge me an arm and a leg and was really nice with my mom (we just lost our family dog, and my mom was very upset) he made her laugh and feel comfortable. Kevin and Tracy are life savers. I have used them in my office downtown Vancouver and now at my parents. I will NEVER use another electrician EVER, and will always recommend Havlin Electrical. Extremely impressed with Kevin's customer service. I called him around 10 am in the morning and he made it to my place before 3 pm the same day.
He gave some very helpful tips and suggestions on how to improve the electrical issues in our home.

Havlin rerouted and connected the wiring for a 220 volt electrical radiant heating matt. The price was inexpensive and I was very impressed with Kevin the electrician. He had a positive attitude, listened to my concerns regarding strata liability, and did a quick, clean job. He followed up to ensure I got the paperwork I needed from them for strata. Thanks, Kevin.

I used Havlin for electrical updates and wiring in the house. They came recommended by a friend of a friend. Everything they did was done perfectly and I would recommend them to anyone for any job, large or small.

I hired Kevin to install some under-cabinet lighting in my kitchen. Although the conditions were not ideal (due to cabinet shelf installation quirks, out of his control), Kevin did a great job, was quick, and even cleaned up after the cabinet guy who left a mess. I appreciated that he kept to his initial quote, clearly explained my options, but mostly I appreciated that he did the job cheerfully and perfectly despite the less than ideal condition of the cabinetry - he made it work, which made my life much, much easier. What more could you ask?

Kevin was punctual and very helpful. He explained what he was going to do step by step, and took me through the entire process. We needed more power in our office, we were blowing plugs and running extension cords to temporarily solve the problem. Kevin was able to come in right away and fix the problem. He was helpful and the service amazing. His team is made of true professionals. They were cost effective and all the work came in on budget. This is the 3rd time I have dealt with Kevin Havlin and I will use him for all of our office renos and projects. I have taken his card and will use him for my home! I will also recommend him to family or friends that need electrical work done. 10/10 in my books!
