Hanks And Son Electric

We had a a problem with customer service initially related to electrical work done to fix a pool pump issue. Hank's resolved it to satisfaction. Electrical work was completed safely.

After waiting a month for another company to install a new fan and light fixture, I called Hank's and they completed the installation the next day in just 30 minutes. The cost was much less than the other company had charged me at the time of purchase! The technician was efficient, courteous, and on-time. I'll be using Hank's again.

I had a few miscellaneous things I needed done - installation of timer switches, 3-way switches, and a thermostat replacement. Earl showed up on time and did all the work professionally. The quality was good but it took somewhat longer than I was expecting. Given they charge by the hour (which is reasonable) it ended up costing me more than I had thought it would. But to be fair, some of the delay was due to unexpected pre-existing wiring when installing the 3-way switches, and I probably wouldn't have been able to figure out how to do that myself. Not sure if anybody else would have been able to do the work faster.

I havent event gotten to using their services, because they dont want to charge me money unnecessarily. Twice they have resolved my issues over the phone. Gives me a sense of trust, I will certainly go to them for any electric work I need to get done.

I recently had some work by Hanks and Son Electric. I had to call them late at night, they were helpful in reassuring me that the problem was safely dealt with overnight and promptly repaired the issue the next morning. Hank was very helpful and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to call him again!

Hired Hanks based on a recommendation after being strung along by another company. They booked me in right away and an electrician named Steve was put on the job. He an his partner, Graham, were terrific and fun to have around. Very careful of my home, took off shoes/vacuumed etc. Great with my dog snooping around them and generally very pleasant to have working here. Had to come back and forth a bit while working on other projects too (they're busy so scheduling must be a bit of a challenge) but communication was great all round. They only thing is that they were significantly more expensive than other companies - I was a bit horrified by the bill. My fault, I should have got a better idea of cost before they started.
