Windows By Installer

We had all our windows on two stories replaced by Windows By Installer. The crew was here early in the morning and left when the last window was in place. They cleaned up as they went so there was little disruption to our household.
The windows came with a lifetime warranty and I can tell you that they stand behind that warranty! We had one window that had a seal problem, called the company and a repairman came out the next day to repair it, at no cost to us. Our patio door also had a problem with the same results.
Even though the work we had done was over two years ago, I would definitely recommend Windows by Installer.

Alex and his guys had recently replaced windows for us. As they finished that job, I asked them to give me a price on doing a small, 3-season, enclosed porch that we have. The price came in at something we could swing, so we had them come back to do the job. They did a great job. They were punctual, respectful, and did a quality job replacing the windows on this porch, reframing the room and finishing it. They were wonderful - they even puppy sat while we were out!

I called By Installer to schedule an appointment to get a quote for vinyl replacement windows and had left a message on their answering machine. Within two hours David had called back to schedule an appointment for the next day. He arrived promptly and spent well over an hour with my wife and I discussing the installation process and the windows that he would be using for installation. We found David personable and professional. They did a great job, offered helpful design and window purchase suggestions during the initial planning phase, and had a skilled, professional, and friendly team doing the work. I have since recommended them to several other people looking for new windows and will have no problem to continue recommending them for people looking for Vinyl Windows.

I contacted Alex at Windows by Installer and he was very responsive and was able to set up an appointment for an estimate that week. He checked and measured the existing windows and discussed all the options available. Alex had an estimate ready and emailed to me the next day. After accepting the estimate, he ordered the windows and within a month they were in and these guys were able to do the installation the same week. I would not hesitate to use Windows by Installer again and I am planning to contact them for future jobs.

Windows by Installer had returned our call immediately, made appointment quickly, showed up on time! Gave us a very fair quote for the work needed, excellent at explaining options and how the work would be done and what was needed and why.
IMPRESSIVE: Arrived on time, team worked well, was well managed, neat and careful, excellent quality of work, great attitude.
GENIUS: We had an unusual issue, for all windows but six were new, but were installed at different times and thus had an "off" look. Windows by Installer suggested "fake sills" to tie the look together! Wonderful!! Great and creative idea and the look is perfect. They even painted the sills!!!!
FAIR : More than fair price for the excellent and extra quality of work and time given.
OVER & ABOVE : We needed a small job done that was not on the quote. Did the small job and it was a no charge.
AMAZING : As they left, I asked if they could tell me how to fix a door that needed adjustment. No problem, they simply fixed it with a smile!!!! These folks are amazing!!!!
We plan to have Windows by Installer back to do our parents house. We trust them, they proved that they give great quality at a great price. Go with the best.

We had had Windows by installer to do one of the windows last year that had quite a bit of wear and tear, rotting exterior, etc. We were very happy with the results, and when we saw their offer for 5 windows installed for $1999.00, we decided to get the rest of our windows done. We had our remaining 12 windows done, and could not be happier. We had 10 regular doublehung windows, 2 smaller bathrooms windows (one with opaque glass), and a large picture window replaced. BY installer came out with a crew of 5 and all the windows were replaced in about 2 hours. They removed my old windows, insulated and installed the new windows. They did have to do some extra trim around one window that had a rotting exterior, and do a new sill for one bathroom window. The add'l trim was charged as $150/window, but this was anticipated and part of the quotation, as our windows were in pretty rough shape.

We had a wonderful experience with Dave and his crew. They were friendly and professional and did a fantastic job on our windows. Dave had us go to the Showroom in Burlington to look at the windows first so that we could see the various configurations in person (6 pane vs. 12 pane, white vs. wood). We chose white windows with 6 pane grids throughout the house. The windows glide so smoothly and we have already noticed a difference in our energy bills (the old windows were the original single pane, 12 grids). Dave kept in contact throughout the ordering process and he and his crew installed the windows in two batches at our request (we ordered the first half if 2012 and the second half in 2013). We were so pleased with Dave that we are now considering him for a patio addition.

Alex and his crew from windows by installer arrived on-time for all appointments. Workmanship was excellent and done quickly. Alex clearly communicated all issues that were found and addressed. He went "above and beyond" to replace rotten wood on the exterior of the home. Small details like adding extra insulation and sanding/filling the trim were nice touches - it clear that Alex takes pride in his work and cares about quality and customer satisfaction. They cleaned up after the work was completed and made sure I was satisfied with everything done.
We are going to replace the rest of the windows (9 more) in the house next spring. This was a "trial run" and we will certainly be having these guys back to do the full job!

Alex and his guys did a great job re-framing our old 2 season porch and making it a year round experience. We could not be happier with the quality of workmanship, their professionalism and how quickly they completed the project. The new windows in the addition are great and I don't know why I waited so long to do this. I needed new shades on the eleven windows and they helped me get them and then installed them...I really appreciated this. The team removed and disposed of the old windows, and installed the replacement windows. They checked for and replaced any rot (there was none), removed lead counterweights, and insulated, trimmed, and caulked any frame gaps.
After all the entire project looks great, thank you Windows by Installer.

Dave and his team came in the door, installed 11 windows and were out in 3 hours. The house was clean just as it was before the installation. I thought this would take 2 days but it took only 1/2 a day. Dave built a shelf I asked for on the spot, and even suggested to help my husband on his own time to take an old back splash out, something he didn't agree for ahead of time and didn't ask for any charge. I already recommended Dave and his team to friends, and would use them again if needed!
