Windows By Installer

We were impressed with the professional manner of all the Windows by Installer people with whom we interacted from the salesman to the owner to the installers. We met the owner because, after the contract is signed, he comes out to personally take all the measurements. He even went out on the roof to make sure he had the precise measurements on our largest window which is in the upstairs master bedroom and has a half round window over the 2 double-hung windows.
We initially chose Windows by Installer because they use their own employees (not sub-contractors) to do the installation. Also, and very important to us, they were willing to take down and re-hang the decorative shades over the windows. This was particularly important with our large window that has a half-round window above it. There is no way we could have re-hung the fan style shade on the half round. The other company which gave us an estimate was not willing to do that - which would have meant additional expense for us to have a shade company come and re-hang the shades.
We were very pleased with the final installation and before it was complete, the salesman came by to make sure that everything was going according to our expectations.
We would definitely recommend Windows by Installer to our friends and would use them again in we replaced any of our other windows.
