I have used this service before and have always been happy with the excellent work. The prices are reasonable and all pricing is provided up front, including a text when the work commences and when it is completed. Scott is professional and immediately resolved the issue.
I received a call telling me exactly when Scott would be there. No extra waiting. This part of the service is very important. It helps me plan my day.

Came in to repair plugs that were poorly installed in a new build (Lebovich Homes, go figure). Came in as early as he could (was booked quite full). Came in, did the job, explained things, overall great. He even kindly brought in the recycling and compost from the side of the road from that day. Kind and will be calling Scott for future electrical work from Gord's Electric.

Called Scott and left a message about a new receptical I tried to put in. It fried my popcorn machine after I wired it wrong. He answered my call in short time. Very pleasant guy. He came not long after. Spotted the problem right off. Fixed the plug. I ended up letting him change the other plugs in the kitchen as well

Scott came out to our house to look at a blown line, and inspect our panel to see if we had more room for some additional lines in our basement. While there he noticed the receptacle for our sump pump was on a GFI. He swapped it out quickly for us to ensure it didn't trip and leave us with a flooded basement.

To help update our kitchen and improve the lighting, I emailed Scotty from Gord's Electric to describe my project. He responded in a timely manner and we set up a consultation meeting. During the consultation meeting, I added on a few more jobs and he was extremely accommodating. Scotty took the time to explain the scope of the work, materials he would be using and other details we should think about as well. Scotty is extremely thorough, knowledgeable and considerate (he wore a mask the entire time in our home). I am extremely pleased with the work he completed. He even took the time to recommend a reliable contractor to repair our drywall on the ceiling (due to the potlight installation) when no one would respond to my inquiries. I would not hesitate to hire Gord's Electric again! Highly recommend him!

Scott responded promptly to our inquiry to replace exterior lights and clearly advised of his rates for service. Although he has a busy schedule, he was available within a reasonable time to do the job. On the day of his arrival, just as Scott was pulling in the driveway and before we had met him, our electrical panel in the house began to randomly overheat. He recognized the burning smell & inspected the panel right away, making recommendations for immediate safety and the process to fix it. Scott agreed to finish the lights as planned, and obtain proper permits, liaison with hydro company, and purchase parts for the panel. We were happy that he was able to make time for this important and lengthy repair and followed all legal and safety protocols in relation to both the electrical work and the current Covid situation.
