Gord's Electric

We had Scott (Gord) come out to fix a problematic GFI outlet in our home. His price was lower than a large local provider and he was able to do it same day! He is obviously highly experienced and was a true gentleman in our home. Will have more work done by him.

All our outdoor electrical outlets were malfunctioning and Scotty the electrician was very professional and quickly repaired them, coming fully prepared with any parts we may have needed, including a required cover to make it safe when wet. We were very appreciative as he clearly explained what he was doing and why.

We have used gord's electric for several jobs over the past couple of years; the most recent being a repair and installation of outdoor receptacles. We have never had any issues with Scott or Gord' Electric and all the work was completed properly every time. We would not hesitate to call Gord's Electric again!

Scotty was extremely knowledgeable and explained how everything worked and what needed to be done. There were several receptacles that weren’t grounded and he fixed them. He also tested all the wiring in the panel as well as the fuses, many of which were higher amps than they needed to be. He replaced those also. We had thought we may need to upgrade the entire panel, which would have cost us a lot more money, but he explained that this wasn’t needed, and we were very appreciative of his honesty as we had no knowledge of what electrical work would be needed. We were very pleased with Scotty’s work and his professionalism and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gord’s Electric to family and friends.

Gord's Electric work efficiently and accurately to complete the execution of the work. The areas worked upon were left tidy and of no hindrance to daily life at the home. Friendly and helpful for the duration of the project.

Scott was a knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The project was fairly time sensitive and Scott provided us an estimate and start date quite quickly. Scott explained everything as he did it, let us know about potential pain points along the way and was able to provide solutions for any questions we had. I'd recommend Scott for any electrical job you have going, his prices were reasonable and didn't push any frills that weren't needed. A good guy who knows his trade, you couldn't ask for more.

I had an outlet that was making a ‘sizzling’ noise, I was uncomfortable with that I turned the power off to that room. I found Gord’s online and was very pleased with the service. Scott was easy to contact and fit me in. He explained things clearly and did the job in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. Would recommend!
