GCFI was not working in our kitchen. Scott was on time , professional and fixed our problem.

Scott was straight up about the initial cost of bringing him in to service an ailing AFCI breaker. He determined the breaker was defective due to some moisture penetration and checked and removed any other breakers that showed evidence of being touched by the moisture. All along he explained the process he was following and the remedy he suggested would solve the problem at hand. While we could not absolutely figure out where the moisture has originated, he did his best to cover all the most likely possibilities and seek further advice from a ESA contact.
All the resulting work looks to have solved the problem and the effected breakers have all been replaced, and in the case of the two present AFCI breakers updated to the latest versions.
Scott was excellent to work with and is highly recommended.

Scotty arrived on time and was very professional and safety conscious. He installed a number of dimmer switches and corrected the wiring of 3 way outlet. We are very satisfied with the wok that was done.

I contacted Home Stars on Sunday, and by Tuesday lunchtime the work was done. I had no basement lights due to a fused circuit which Scott found and resolved very quickly. He explained exactly what he had done, and then installed my dimmer switch. Very pleased with the quick service and great work, Scott was on time and responsive. I would definitely hire him again.
