We recently engaged Zoltan to help us renovate our basement into a cozy 2-bedroom apartment. Zoltan is a very honest and positive person who is upfront with the cost and service. He is a real problem-solver. He helped us with the basement layout to maximize space and functionality given our smaller budget. Great craftsmanship and work attitudes. He and his team (sub-contracts) always showed up when they said they would, and they were able to complete the project on time. We highly recommend Zoltan.

Working with Zoltan and his team was a great experience. From the quoting process to the finished project we were kept in the loop and Zoltan ensured we felt comfortable with how things were progressing. The project was actually finished in less time that originally estimated which was much appreciated as we get ready for the holidays. The fee schedule was well laid out and we were able to tweak things as we went along. The whole contracting team kept our house clean and their working area was also well managed reducing the dust and impact to us. Would hire Zoltan and his team for any future projects. When we purchased our home, it was dated and needed a lot work. The previous owners were not into the whole idea of updating, they were the original owners the home was built in the early 80s to give you an idea - and only made the minimum indispensable to sell the house. The house needed revitalizing. We had contacted several different contractors and none of them came close to matching the personability, charm, work-ethic, response-time and price of Zoltan.

It was a collaboration between owners and contractor. We had a vision and he made it happen. And when our vision was off, he made suggestions and steered us back in the right direction. Zoltan also provided us with a breakdown of price, which was very helpful to us. The design was exactly what we were looking for and the price was very reasonable. We have more to do in the future and we will be calling Zoltan again without hesitation. He has proven to us that he will go well beyond the call of duty to ensure the job is completely perfect. He is a perfectionist.

ZHI did a wonderful job of renovating my old kitchen in a condo. Everything in it was original from the builder so it was a full renovation. The team was always on time, was clean and attentive to the rules that exist in a condo relative to renovations. Zoltan was always available to discuss the course of the renovations, or if I had any questions. He was very helpful with ideas and helped me with some of the choices that I made. The result is a beautiful kitchen, ready in time as planned. I will definitely ask for their services next time again when I am renovating. I would not hesitate to recommend him. It was time for a new roof but we decided to go with steel. Rather than go with the big steel roof companies we decided (with Zoltan's help) to source the material ourselves and have him do the installation. It's a typical old house with multiple renovations and elevations. Zoltan and the team did a beautiful job leveling the roof, replacing damaged plywood, new flashing, eaves etc. We are extremely happy!

ZHI was contracted to re-do the entire basement, which included installing a new kitchen and a bathroom. Zoltan and his team did a phenomenal job. Throughout the project he kept me apprised of the progress of the reno as well as he made recommendations as to the best / most economical ways of finishing the job.

Zoltan dismantled our ageing 1991 wooden front porch with a slightly larger Sienna treated wooden porch and installed Regal Railing provided by myself. The new porch is absolutely beautiful and just what my wife and I had designed for Zoltan. Zoltan began and finished the work on time and he and his associate Lajos were very pleasant and professional.
