We've given Angel Movers ample time to address an issue we had when they damaged our dining room table however several attempts to contact them have gone unanswered. This was not the only issue however. Besides the damage that they caused to my furniture and did not own up to, here is a list of the issues and why we do not recommend them:
- We found items left outside our old home (some in the bushes) that they did not load on the truck for reasons unknown. They were removed from our house but 'ditched' only to be found by me later after the truck had already left
- Some of the staff (the newer guys) were very professional and polite, however the senior mover (22+ years experience) was extremely rude and unprofessional. Swearing loudly at the other staff, complaining about his company, his boss and proudly professing that he is not going to F'n get a COVID shot. Speaking badly about previous customers and generally just not pleasant to deal with. I'm not a prude by any means however the continuous crassness made a long day even longer.
- They came with 2 trucks but left many things behind, on the other side of our move, they just chucked 90% of the boxes in the garage, despite the fact that they were clearly labelled for the room that they needed to be in, i.e. kitchen, dining room etc.
- They damaged a dining room table (among other things as I found out afterwards) and when I pointed it out to the head mover, he acknowledged the damage and took pictures and told me that someone from the office would contact me, which never happened. I followed up several times and they have yet to get back to me in regards to the damage that they caused which based on their contract, should be covered under insurance that I have paid.
There are many more negatives however I will say this, do not believe the hype. They offer a good price compared to the big guys but apparently you get what you pay for. I don't plan on moving again, but lesson learned and I recommend you stay clear of this company.
