Angel Movers & Storage Ltd

Due to a divorce, I had to sell my home this past summer. I haven't had to move in 20 years, and in moving, I knew I was not going to use the previous mover, which was a well known national brand, but the value was nowhere what I expected. I looked around for quite sometime, reading internet reviews, and ultimately I decided to try Angel Movers, primarily on the strength of their many positive customer reviews. I was right away impressed with this company, as I was contacted quickly by Anna, who most importantly wanted to understand what I was looking for and when, rather than just schedule me in. She wanted to understand the scope of the move and what was involved to exact details. Despite this though, they were able to provide some latitude for me unknowns - I wasn't sure whether some of the furniture would be staying or moving, but she was able to accommodate me in either case. I also found her personable, not focusing on the business side, but also was empathetic towards my situation. It was a great conversation, and I had decided to book Angel for my move as a result of seeing how they were focused in building not a business relationship but one where the move logistics is tailor made to the customer's situation.

On the day of the move this past summer, everything went like clockwork. The three movers, Sam, Ty and Tim arrived on time and were professional right off the bat in introducing themselves and wanting to see the lay of the land for what I was moving. My kids were there and they were friendly with the kids and had good customer service skills. All three gentlemen were polite, to the point where they asked if they could put on some music while they worked, to which I replied "of course". There was some things that I had not anticipated, such as my bookcases being bolted into the wall and I had no tools - they were able to take those apart with their tools even though that wasn't part of the original arrangement. The flexibility in helping move some additional items was very much appreciated. I saw how they worked - with the kids heavy bunkbed, they tried to remove the top section on one piece and tried taking it down the stairs. When they realized it would be difficult, they made a good choice to not try to do it for the sake of easy, but for safety and the integrity of the furniture, they took it apart (and reassembled it later at my new place).

At the new place, they were able to quickly move everything in safely and there was no damage to anything (unlike 20 years ago with the national bigger company). I think Sam, Ty and Tim's big strength was assessment. They were able to quickly determine whether something worked before they tried it and they employed good problem solving yet were efficient in their work. They were the consummate professionals and I would not hesitate to use them and Angel Movers again, which I definitely will. My kids really enjoyed them and said "those were cool guys".

Anna followed up with the move and my bill ended up being less than I thought due to the move being less time. This says a lot about the integrity of the company - some other companies would have just billed the full amount, but I am pleased that Angel did not and for that reason I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for their next move whether small or big. Their commitment to customer service and the care they show the customer from start to finish a testament to not only their great business acumen, but also their honesty and focus on making sure the customer's needs are put first.
