Angel Movers came recommended by a friend, and after reading some good reviews, I felt confident that I was hiring a competent company to handle my move. Overall, I was quite disappointed. They put the wrong address into their GPS, so arrived at my condo late. Then the driver didn't give enough clearance around a support pillar, resulting in the truck damaging the intercom system that people need to access the underground parking lot. No apology from the driver for that, either. Considering I only had a small condo to move, and that I had taken apart the bed myself, and removed all clothing and lamps prior to moving day, the move took a lot longer than I expected. My fiance stayed at the condo to lock up after them so I could head to the new place. My fiance said the guys didn't appear to be in much of a hurry. When I went back to my condo the next day to clean it, several items had been left behind: a table on my balcony, curtain rod, bulletin boards. I had specifically told the guys that they didn't need to worry about the things in the front closet...but they left other stuff too. My hardwood floors in the den were scratched and so was a closet door mirror. I also noticed that one of them had taken the time to re-heat his coffee in my microwave. When I called Johan to discuss things, he said it wasn't his fault the guys went to the wrong address - they were the ones who input the info incorrectly. I don't really care whose fault it is - an apology is the only suitable response. He also said he went to survey the damage to the intercom and that the damage 'wasn't that bad'. Well, I don't know what he would consider 'bad', but when something that used to work doesn't work at all anymore, I consider that 'bad'. Again, an apology would have gone a long way in diffusing my frustration, but none was given. He mentioned he would see what he could do about my final price, but nothing was done. The driver charged me the full amount. Considering how much time was wasted between the incorrect address and the driver taking out the intercom system, I really feel I shouldn't have been charged full price. The one positive I will say is that the movers I had were nice guys. Unfortunately, that's not enough for me to ever recommend this company to anyone in need of a mover.
