With a recent spring storm that knocked our power out for over 54 hours, it was time for us to be able to hook up our generator to run our house. Running extension cords throughout the house from our generator in the driveway for that power outage was an annoying way to power things.

I called Brian at vault master and asked if there was anything we could do. He said yes, and talk to me about the idea of a transfer switch. Unfortunately there was a huge backorder with the manufacturer and they were hard to find. Brian at VoltMaster never gave up, called everywhere and eventually tracked one unit down in northern Ontario.

Thanks to Brian at VoltMaster, my house is ready for the next power outage. Even better, now we can run our well pump and even furnace fan if its winter time. This will allow us to weather storms that seem to be getting worse and worse every year. It lets us use lights and ceiling fans too - things we could not use with our generator and and extension cords.

Brian answered every question I had about everything. He is very knowledgeable, worked efficiently and kept me in the loop on everything. He is my go to Electrician for everything!
