Kasa Bella

I had Rod retile the front entry and powder room aincluding an install of very beautiful wall tiles. Rodrigo at Kasa Bella did incredible work. Other trades in my home have stopped to comment on how perfect the tiling work is. Rod is professional, reliable, honest and trust-worthy. His workmanship is really beautiful; not to mention, he is so tidy! I will be doing another bathroom tiling reno and will definitely have Kasa Bella do the job! I've already recommended this company to friends and other contractors!

Rodrigo did an amazing job for us. The tiles that were installed by another contractor in our kitchen and two bathrooms less than two years ago had started to move up and down. We were very upset obviously and thought we had to take out all the kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities, redo all the tiles, and reinstall everything again (which would be very expensive).
I called a few companies listed in HomeStars. Even over the phone, Rodrigo was courteous, professional, and showed genuine interest in doing the job. He came within a few days to take a look and without removing the existing tiles, he was able to provide the reasons why the tiles were moving. He assured me that the tiles can be replaced without removing the kitchen cabinets and the vanity in one of the bathrooms (since it was one of those IKEA hanging vanities). He could not guarantee that he could re-tile the other bathroom without removing the vanities, but in the end he was able to do so. We also decided to replace the tiles in the foyer because it would eventually have the same problem. He booked me in as early as he could, gave me an estimate on the number of days the job would take, and finished the day he said he would. The demolition was obviously messy but he did his best to prevent dust from going to the other areas of the house and removed all the debris promptly.
Seeing how the job was harder than he had anticipated (he had less than a foot of clearance to work under the vanities), I even offered to pay him more. But he did not accept, stating that he stands by the quote he gives. He is an honest, hard-working, and responsible craftsman.
We are very glad to have found Rodrigo and would highly recommend him to anyone.

The beautiful photos we are uploading really tell the story! Rodrigo laid approx. 500 sq. ft. of long, wood-look plank-style tiles, and even accomplished this on a floor that was originally pretty uneven (he had it leveled first, an excellent idea). And YES, these are indeed tiles...they just look like wood, but are actually porcelain. This kind of tile is also more difficult to install, given their length and size, but Rodrigo did an amazing job.
Rodrigo is very professional, friendly, helpful, well spoken, and (very important to us) trustworthy. We felt very comfortable leaving Rodrigo alone to work on our home (and this isn’t something we usually do). In addition, this tiling job was done a few months ago, but the photos were taken yesterday – and the floors still look great!
We did have a bit of a problem with the grout color (when it dried it was a very light color – however, this was a problem with the grout brand, NOT Rodrigo). However, Rodrigo came back more than once, discussed this issue, and then tried various things to darken it (we ultimately chose to use colored grout sealer to get the desired look which you can see in the photos, but really appreciated the professional way in which he followed up on this issue).
In summary, Rodrigo is very responsible and responsive, and definitely a highly skilled professional tiler. He gives great advice, and is a good problem-solver. No, Rodrigo is not the cheapest tiler, but he is still reasonable…and it’s definitely worth it to go with someone who you know will do a great job! People comment all the time on how beautiful the new tiled floors are, but best of all, we love them. We also tell everyone who did them: Rodrigo at Kasa Bella. We would happily recommend him to anyone who wants to install tile!

Rod was recommended by our neighbor who builds houses as the best 'Tile guy' he has ever used! We were not disappointed. Rod scheduled us in quickly and the work was finished in a timely manner. He is a very clean and meticulous worker. The results were incredible. I will post pictures when the shower glass is installed! I will recommend Kasa-bella to anyone who asks.

I was looking for an experienced tile installer for my kitchen backsplash. I found Rodrigo on Homestars and was impressed by the pictures of his previous work. It was a two-day job and Rodrigo was punctual and cleaned up at the end of each day. As for the quality of work, it was excellent, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves :)

My wife and I had Rodrigo, redo our kitchen floor and backsplash.
Not only was he very professional and polite, punctual, showed up when he said he would, cleaned up the area very well. He did a great job and answered all questions and concerns we had. Rodrigo from Kasa Bella just finished a big tiling job for us -- our entire finished basement. He did such a beautiful job. And we had a very tight deadline to deal with. It was not an easy job -- Rodrigo came up with excellent finishing ideas that I had not thought of. During our first meeting he quoted the job right away and booked himself in.
