I was referred to fredy, a project manager at f and G contractor services, to renovate my home almost a year ago and he is still my "go to"guys for all things home related... including the upcoming doors and windows (the last phase in the renovation). my renovation project included demolition, new basement, new bathrooms, reconfigured floor plans, new kitchen, new electrical, lighting, duct work and plumbing, new cedar decking, renovated front porch and entrance, etc.-- and fredy completed, patient and collaboration and he adds a lot of extra value to my projects. I trust Fredy explicitly and feel he cares as much about my project as i do. he takes great care to ensure the integrity of my +100 year old house.
that is why I've recommended him many times to my friends (with the understanding that my projects take priority LOL).

I am very unhappy with the service I have received from F and G Contractors. I hired them over a year ago to do a bathroom renovation and other renovation work and odd jobs for my house. They completed the bathroom renovation fairly okay (although not really to the design agreed to in advance). In the process, they caused damage to the ceiling downstairs, which they then repaired, but for an extra charge. While re-shingling the roof of the house, they caused minor flooding during a rainstorm by not properly covering up the roof that was in process of being worked on. Most of the work was completed, but with several months delay in the end. However, I had pre-paid for a custom-made door (ordering, delivery and installation) as well as a painting job. Fredy took the payment, but never completed the work, and has not returned the $950 he now owes me. I also had to remove construction debris (shingles they took down from the roof) on my own dime, since they just left the pile of garbage sitting in my back yard, and never showed up to pick it up to dispose of (which was agreed to). I am very dissatisfied, and would not recommend this company to anyone.

I took my own advice. In August we hired F & G to re-shingle a small part of our roof, over our southerly exposed kitchen and living room. It was probably the type of small job a true handy-man home owner could tackle on his own, but I wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. A leaky roof in the winter would really suck, so I called Fredy to come take a look. He agreed that it was a small job, and that it would only take one morning. He and his crew finished the removal of the old shingles, and install of the new ones in a few hours one morning while I was at work. The only evidence that that they had been there at all, was our new water tight roof. It rained hard all of the next week, and I was so happy that the work had been done before the water fell. Again we would recommend F & G with confidence.

We had the pleasure of having Fredy Segura of F&G Contractors do some extensive work in our basement in February and March of 2012. He and his crew laid down the sub floor, studded and dry walled the entire project and provided much needed advice regarding the other contractors on the project. We were very thankful for him being on site, keeping a watchful eye on the work performed by other tradesmen while we were at work during the day. He provided us with several upgrades at no extra charge that made the finished project much more pleasing to the eye. He carefully measured our newly purchased entertainment unit, and framed the end of the room to give it a custom built in look. As well, our built in electric fire place looks fantastic. It really makes the room look dynamic. I recommend, if you are looking for trustworthy reliable work, at a fair price you can count on F&G Contractors.
