Wow! I absolutely love it! I must have said this a million times while kingscape was working on our project. I have never seen a harder working team. Not only that, the team at kingscape are ridiculously meticulous. Justin and Mike even went so far as to rip up completed work because it didn't look absolutely perfect and this was near the end of the project. We've had neighbours we've never met go out of their way to say how much they loved the design and how unique it was. We've even caught people doing slow drive bys to take a peek. Kingscape has made quite a name for themselves in our area. One evening while out for a walk we ended up talking to 4 neighbours that also had work done by kingscape and the general consensus is kingscape is definitely worth every penny and worth the wait. I have never had a better experience. 110% would recommend kingscape to anyone looking to have some work done.

About 4 years back we put a pool in with only partial landscaping. We planned to do more after a few years. Based on some recommendations from neighbours we called Kingscape.
After dealing with many contractors over the years with our pool it was refreshing to work with someone like Mike who provided my wife and I tons of ideas of what could be done with our backyard/frontyard.
We get compliments from people who come over all the time about the design and workmanship. When we compare it to our previous landscapers there really is no comparison. Kingscape did a fantastic job.
They also completed the job very efficiently, sending a whole crew to get the job done quickly rather than having it drag on.
Would recommend Mike, Justin and the crew in a heartbeat.

My husband and I were very indecisive when it came to designing our front entryway and backyard - Mike was very patient as we mulled over tree and rock placement, consistently providing us with new ideas and designs. Our end result is breathtaking and far beyond what we could have imagined. From the moment we first called Kingscape to the time the job was complete it has been nothing but a pleasure. The crew arrived early and left late each day leaving the property, as well as road side spotless. They were friendly, kind and an overall pleasure to have around.
We will definitely be using and recommending Kingscape in the future.

My wife and I had planned for a nicely designed patio for years. We were also very cautious about selecting a contractor based on stories we had heard from the media about contractors not completing their work. Mike was highly recommended to us through a co-worker. We saw pictures of their incredible backyard oasis. Mike took very detailed notes regarding our requirements and presented us with drawings exactly to our design. NOW THE GOOD STUFF!! Mike, Justin and his crew started work early in the morning every day. At the end of each work day, Mike took time to recap the work completed that day and what his team would work on the following day. My wife and I were impressed with the amount of machines and equipment they brought onto our street. Neighbours passed by our home and wondered what kind of project was being worked on in our backyard. What I liked most about Mike’s team was everyone knew how to operate and work with the different types of equipment and machines. Mike’s team rotated tasks allowing them to continuously work on our backyard. My neighbour was also in complete awe when he saw how efficient Mike’s crew was. My neighbour approached me and said “Looking at how Kingscape is working on your backyard, I too will recommend them to my friends and family”. I have never experienced a contractor being referred only from viewing the crew’s performance. I was so happy to hear this as I knew I had made the right decision in hiring Kingscape. Kingscape will always be our outdoor designer/landscaper and we look forward to working with Mike and his team again when we do our front yard. Stay tuned for part 2.

Mike and his landscape construction team are a fantastic group of people. They did an amazing job with transforming our front yard into something that we smile at and love to come home to each and every day.

Not only did they do a superb job with the construction and plant/floral design , they were literally in and out of our driveway within 3 days.. They had all the machinery and product ready to go when the project started, we didn't have bobcats and unfinished work hanging around for any excess time.

Besides the product and service you actually get, the best thing about this company is the people. Extremely polite courteous hardworking men and women that respect your time and home to the utmost. Mike the project manager is a great guy and took the time and explained everything to my wife and I regarding our small townhouse project.

Mike and his team exceeded my expectations on this project. From the time I initially met Mike to the day he and the team completed the project, his number one priority was making sure my needs were met. We even changed the design slightly during the construction phase and it wasn't a problem at all. I sort of knew what I wanted but I really left the design and creativity to Mike and Justin who did not disappoint. The curb appeal has really been transformed and I look forward to seeing my front yard every day when I come home. Even my neighbours stop to comment on what a transformation it has made on my home. You couldn't ask for a better team of professional, hard working and dedicated guys who you can trust to get the job done.

While on Mat leave I had seen the work of Mike and his team from Kingscape transform our neighbour’s front yard. Mike and his team are an exceptional group. Their professionalism is outstanding, their dedication to your home is as if it was their own. They work day and night until they complete your landscaping with the outmost care. When Mike came to the house to provide the quote he was professional and understanding of everything we wanted and he is always aiming to please and followed through on what he promised (especially my Japanese maple). Mike and Justin provided unique and excellent designs. My husband and I are extremely happy with our Front yard that we have asked Mike and his team to come and create a backyard oasis for us.

I HIGHLY recommend Kingscape Landscaping. In addition to SUPERB results, we witnessed the DEDICATION to details and cleanliness. My family saw Mike Justin Dan Jake Mark Vic Phil Matt Dylan, measure and re-measure, plan and replan. They were FOCUSSED all day, everyday until the front and the back were created. The Kingscape team exuded excitement for our landscaping from the beginning of the plan to the end. I have spent more time outside my house in 8 weeks, then all the
time outside for 8 years.

The guys from Kingscape are professional, creative and innovative. I had a number of quotes done, but the decision to use Kingscape was a no brainer. They exceeded all expectations and their work speaks for itself. I am confident to say they are the best landscapers I have ever seen and I am happy I was able to have them do a project for me.

Like many others who embark on this journey we invited several landscapers in to provide us with competitive quotes and ideas. In the end we elected to go with Kingscape for several reasons:
1) Dedication: This crew is dedicated to their work! The crew showed up when they said they would, worked diligently while they were here and when they left in the evening, most often 8:30pm, they would leave our property tidy and ready to go for the next day. Day in and day out this was the routine. Mike was able to inform us on the projected work for the day, the time frame and when that portion of the project would be complete. They knew the importance of completing the work within a respectful timeframe but also that it was important to us and our neighbors that our property and surrounding area didn’t look like it was under construction for the duration of the project.
2) Design: Let’s face it most of us aren’t experts in design and we think we have an idea of what we want based on what we see in magazines but that’s about the extent of our expertise. It can be overwhelming for most of us to determine what we want in design, what interlock product works best in that space, and which trees and shrubs best compliment your hardscaping. Most Landscapers that were recommended to us seemed simply content on getting us to tell them what we thought we wanted and them simply offering up a quote. There was no consultation. There were no questions like, “Have you thought about this, or have you considered using this material or what about this design”. This changed the moment my wife and I met with Mike. He brought a fresh perspective and amazing new ideas that had not crossed our minds. The ideas completed the space in one phase, not multiple phases as recommended by other companies, and stayed within our budget. His enthusiasm for his work and specifically, our project were contagious. Once Mike painted the picture for what he envisioned for our back yard, we couldn’t wait to begin. In fact, we waited a full year before Kingscape could begin on our project because they were completely booked for the following season. It was worth the wait.
3) Value for Your Money and Trust: Understand you are going to drop a fair bit of After Tax Dollars when you contact a third party to do your Landscaping. I put Value and Trust together because you are entrusting someone with your hard earned money. You hear many horror stories on contractors not completing the work, or the final cost not being close to what was originally quoted. Kingscape was competitively priced amongst three other quotes we received. When you compare the final product on what was quoted, we feel that the other Landscapers were overpriced for what they were going to offer. There was added value through creative design and architectural features that were only offered by Kingscape.
4) PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP; this is hands down the biggest single reason why we selected Kingscape in the end. We had the opportunity to meet Mike and talk to him on several occasions before the crew began their work and what struck me the most about him, was the pride he took in his work. Like I said, you are spending some good money on this project and you want the best value for your dollar. Kingscape gives that to you in spades. You learn that there is nothing that he will offer or suggest that he wouldn’t do in his own backyard. In fact he leaves you with the distinct impression that “Your Back Yard is His Backyard” The pride he and his crew take in their work was evident from day 1. Everything that Mike suggested or promised individually was carried out by Justin and the entire crew on site. I think of landscape design like painting on a canvas. It evolves as the work is being done. They were not afraid to push the boundaries and give us more ideas as the work was being executed because that is what they would want for their own yard. Mike has been following up with us often to ensure that we are enjoying our space. He and Justin will sometimes drop by for a quick hello to see how everything is growing. They want your backyard to be that “something” that you can point to with Pride for years to come and say “Yes, this is my Oasis”.
