Installation Of New Furnace & Air Conditioner Unit
Live in cambridge, ont. , and since our furnace was getting 20 years old and had previous problems in winter time. figured time to upgrade. i sent out a couple of request for quotes on updating.
Aire-One was the only one i heard back from.
the service manager ( Cyrus ) made contact and set up an appointment to view my present furnace and give me a quote on a new furnace and a/c unit. and how much time would be to have it all installed i was told it would be an all day job.
because some people in home work nights and set up time that would be mutual so as not to disturb the ones who work night shift was set up. we are also smokers which didnt bother him. guess it should have been noted as such.
on mov 22nd the installer showed up by himself as i inquired why he was alone i was informed his partner was ill. but another crew would be coming later to give him a hand.
he wasnt in the home 10 minutes and when i was informed he couldnt do the work due to being a smokers home and was allergic to it. but we had made arragements for another crew to come and do it.
so now we had to wait for this other crew to come and do the installation . it was after 10.30 a.m. when they showed up. they proceeded with the work at hand and i will say these to guys were very polite and courteous and professional in doing there job. but now the one day installation was going to run into 2 days. after it was all done this crew cleaned up and showed answerd any questions i had i was very satisfied with there work.
i called Cyrus the next day about i wasn't to happy about the way things got off to a start by the first person showing up by himself then having to leave and wait for the other crew. and now i had to take another day off work because of it. i informed him i felt i should be compensated for having to miss a second day off work. he told me he would look into it and i havent heard a word from him since.
which to me just shows typically they dont give a hoot they got there money and sorry about your luck . there hasnt been any type of follow up call from anyone at Aire One.
If i had my time back i would have definitely gone with my someone else.
I would never recommend them to some one who is looking for upgrade.

I'm sorry you feel this way about the service. From what I understand you're very happy with the installation and very happy with the product. It seems the only thing you're unhappy about is that one of our installation staff unfortunately has an allergy to cigarette smoke. Again, I thank you for your feedback as we work to improve our customer service by listening to our customers and have made the necessary administration changes to indicate smoking jobs from non-smoking jobs. Our intention was not for you, the customer to miss any work and I assure you if the second day off was not sufficient for your schedule, we would have been more than happy to accomodate your schedule and rebook the installation for a day that was more convenient for you however this concern was not raised with our installation department at the time of rebooking. According to the review, I don't believe the 2/10 rating reflects your opinion of Aire One KW's quality of job or service.
