ATD (Attention to Detail) are indeed true to their name!! At every level and step of the process from design to reveal, the individuals at ATD distinguished themselves as true professionals and caring partners in helping us to realize our renovation aspirations. Indeed, our lofty expectations were not only met but exceeded at all steps of the process.
The initial consultation resulted in a presentation and quote that clearly delineated the scope and sequence of the project. The timelines were clear, reasonable and met. The entire staff - owners, designers, work crews, trades people, etc. were respectful, industrious, attentive and accommodating. The work area was always left clean and safe at the end of each day and extra attention to cleaning was provided at week's end. We were kept abreast of the progress and next steps of the renovations. It is clear that great thought and planning went into scheduling purchases, deliveries and allocation of human resources. The design consultant, Valerie, kept us on track for making timely selections to allow the project to proceed without delays and provided valuable advice to inform our decisions.
The owners, Joe and Justin, and supervisors kept atop of the project and were always available and generous with their time. The craftsmanship of the kitchen cabinetry, which was designed, built and installed by ATD and hardware and finishes are unparalleled. There is not a single aspect of the project that has not exceeded our wishes and inspired awe in everyone who sees the finished product. Flooring-porcelain and hardwood, plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, trim, doors, drywall, framing etc.. everything evinces ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
We are so happy that the renovation is complete but saddened that we won't see the many people who came into our lives each day and provided us with a space that our family will enjoy for years to come.
In the future other areas of our home will require upgrades and changes and we already know that we want ATD to do the work.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Valerie's design ideas for our kitchen and master ensuite were amazing and Joe did a fantastic job keeping us on time and on budget. Justin and the rest of his team delivered an outstanding final product that my wife and I are extremely satisfied with. They are extremely professional, responsive and courteous. They worked tirelessly to make sure that we were 100% satisfied with the final product and they addressed any issues on a very timely basis. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is considering a significant renovation. Don't leave your project to just anyone - these guys are pros and they really care about and take tremendous pride in their work. So does their entire crew.

There are good contractors, better contractors and excellent contractors. ATD definitely belongs in the latter category.
ATD (Attention to Detail) was commissioned to completely revamp our 1958-built bungalow with a new kitchen/dining/living area, as well as reconstructing the back entrance to include laundry facilities.
Our home was sorely in need of a significant update and the project involved a complete gutting of the areas - new cabinetry, a large kitchen peninsula, new flooring, stonework on a wall housing a gas fireplace, upgraded and new wiring and lighting, plumbing and painting and revamping a back entrance to include laundry facilities.
From inception to completion, our long-awaited reno dream came to fruition. ATD listened to our requirements, came up with a design plan ( thank you designer Kayla) that suited us and began the overhaul.
There were a few pre-construction "surprises" - unanticipated - and Justin and Joe handled these with good advice and communication at every step. Solutions were worked out and work continued.
We found the crew to be not only talented, but pleasant to work with - their professionalism and workmanship is to be admired.
Clean-up occurred at every stage - something we appreciated as demolition and construction can be a dirty job and the crew left the premises as clean as possible even in inclement weather.
We left our home for a few weeks before the reno was completed and returned to a magazine-worthy completed project. Our sincerest thanks to staff and crew for making this "dream" come true.

The initial meeting with Justin and designer Kayla was the first step in the creation of our " dream reno". As now retired people, we were anxious to see how our idea would materialize in making our living space more adaptable to our needs.
Kayla and Justin listened carefully to our vision of what we wanted and Kayla produced a computerized drawing at our next meeting. It was pretty much exactly what we envisioned, with a few small "tweaks".
Once the project was started, the crew ran into a few pre-reconstruction "surprises". There was good communication from Justin and Joe with respect to a viable solution at every stage of the project.
We found the crew to be not only talented, but pleasant to work and communicate with. The carpentry work was stunning! Their professionalism is to be admired.
Let's face it, reno's are often messy and dirty jobs, and what we found to be a pleasant surprise was the crew's cleanup after every stage of the work - even in inclement weather. Every attempt was made to clear the area of dirt, dust and debris.
We left our home for a few weeks prior to completion and returned to a magazine-worthy completed project.

We’ve just completed a kitchen renovation (and then some) with ATD Contractors, and we cannot say enough about our positive experience working with this entire team.
Our renovation was somewhat forced upon us by a dishwasher leak disaster that ruined the floors in the open plan kitchen/living room of our 20yr old house.
We had friends who had worked with ATD and raved about them, so we called Joe and he was onsite with Milton to get our plan going that same week. We had been thinking about what we would want if we were to ever renovate (assuming it was years away), so we were able to work with Milton to incorporate some of our dream elements into his wonderful plan.
We wanted to ensure that everything went according to the project plan, and Joe, Justin, and Milton were very communicative and worked closely with us at every step. Things we were responsible for, we ensured that we did quickly so that we didn’t hold up the project, and Joe managed each team member’s schedule to maximize efficiency and guarantee that not only were we working to the plan, but we actually were AHEAD of schedule!
A renovation isn’t just the project plan of course—I was extremely pleased with the quality of work of every team member who was on site. From the fast and clean demo, to the electricians, the drywall/plastering, cabinet fabrication and installation, installing our new floors, plumbing, and painting, painting, painting! – the ATD crews and sub-contractors really lived up to all my friends’ recommendations, as well as their company name. Every detail was attended to—Joe or Justin came by the site almost daily, and always responded to any of our questions. The guys on site knew what was coming next (that day, the next day, etc) and made sure that we felt comfortable talking to them about any question or issue.
I really appreciate that this company works smart—they are quick to email or text, and thus stay in touch and on top of any situation that might arise.
We love our new kitchen, floors, smooth walls in the powder room, and fantastic paint job everywhere! We are already planning our next project(s) for ATD, and have recommended them to all our neighbors and friends.

The dynamic-duo of Joe and Justin (and crew) strikes again! Joe, Justin, Tiff and the crew at ATD Contracting services did an amazing job for us for our kitchen. We had previously hired them to do a renovation on our bathroom and were very pleased with the result there, and this time we hired them for two projects in one - our kitchen and our laundry room. From the moment we contacted them, they were eager, courteous, polite and a delight to work with. All jobs come with some challenges, but the mark of great contractors is how they deal with these challenges. Justin and Joe dealt with each challenge head-on, got the problem solved to our collective satisfaction (sometimes their standard was higher than ours!).

This project involved completely gutting the kitchen, removal of a wall, building structure for "peninsula" and then rebuilding the kitchen with high quality Canadian-sourced cabinetry (Cuisine Laurier) and quartz countertops (Caesarstone). They have an excellent team of talented trades people who all have done great work. We would gladly recommend them to others, and will likely be hiring them again in the future.
