Shed

I purchased the shed from shed in a day, 10x10 8ft walls and a 8ft overhang (porch) 10x18 total.

The sales experience was good, quick turnaround. had a few issues, but Bruce rectified them quickly.

Approximate cost of services:
$3,200.00

Worst customer service!

I purchased the shed from shed in a day, 10x10 8ft walls and a 8ft overhang (porch) 10x18 total.

The sales experience was good, quick turnaround. The problems were not discovered until it was delivered.

I had asked for drawing in advance to confirm it was being built as requested, which would have caught most of the problems, but I was assured via the phone that they were clear... but they weren't !

My 10x18 shed was shipped as 10x17'10". Only 2" off, no big deal right? Well my concrete pad with bolt anchors disagrees . I called the owner, and was told this is what I ordered, and refused to fix it. So I needed to buy bigger beams.

So I put down the pressure treated sills, weird, it's not 10x10, it's 3" short... so I call the owner, and was told the trim is part of the measurements. So your thinking, that some thick trim... nope, they put 2x4 nailng edges on the outside and count that... so again, bolts are off. I can't lengthen this, and they refuse to do anything about it, so I grind off bolts and tapcon the backwall.

We started assembling the shed, we put up the rear wall. Weird, the siding doesn't cover the sill? Is that supposed to be? We check the other three, even dry fit the second wall, they all check out. So I call Bruce again. I am told they are supposed to be like that. Really, three cover aND one is 1.5" short? Apparently this is true, I confirm 3 more times. I was told they "use a template, so they are obviously right". No paraphase...

So I guess I'm going to figure this one out too, because if I dont, the critters definitely will.

Oh, don't forget that the trim was also short, but only on the back. This trim is also supposed to support the beams for the overhang, but there is a gap, so the entire 8ft overhang is just resting on the siding. They did give me extra 2x4s to support the beam, but I was told they are an optional 2nd support, and that their own installs never use them...

I have more issues, but I have spent so mush time fixing their issues, that I am too tired to keep going. And for those keeping score, I am almost $100 and 8 hours Into the fixes. At this rate it would have been cheaper and faster to build it myself.
