I was referred to this company by a friend who later admitted hiring Sunlyte was also a mistake. My feelings are the same. Hugely disappointed with their promises, time management (ie. delays), extra costs, business practices and results. Shinny yellow work trucks, a fancy showroom and a fast talking owner don't produce any pride in workmanship or a quality renovation. I recommend that you always google any company or anyone associated with it when considering hiring a contractor- Remember, you are letting these people into your home. As far a Sunlyte goes, I recommend that you stay away.

We initially met with SunLyte in 2007 time frame and they put shutters throughout our house. They are very nice guys and try hard but in the end I have some issues with the quality of their products. The door they installed for us is sagging and hitting the ground. I have contacted them several times and often they were too busy to respond. Eventually they told me that there is nothing they could do. After that, all of the pull bars turned yellow and they did a great job of replacing them (but had to glue them in place because apparently they didn't make shutters that way anymore - they were only 3 years old!). Now the frames are starting to turn yellow - it has only been 5 years. I would contact them but given the 2 year run around they gave me on the door and still never fixing it I am not going to bother. They will likely respond and tell the world via this forum that they are willing to help me but I have dozens of unanswered emails regarding our sagging door that prove otherwise. I did contact VinylTek about the 25 year warranty they offer and they were very rude and told me to deal with SunLyte.

Great job. Sunlyte installed windows in our home and I could not be happier with the job. John and his workers came to our house, removed our old windows, disposed the debris and cleaned up the area leaving it in even better condition then when they had arrived. Very pleased with their commitment to workmanship and quality products. We will be calling them again when we need our kitchen cabinets redone. I highly recommend this company to others.
