Maintenance

I recently had my new furnace and tankless hot water heater service and the service technician was fantastic and answered all questions I had. He arrived on time and made sure that he wore shoe protection even though I told him he didn't need to. I also want to say how great the furnace and tankless have been on my gas bill. In the summer it was lower then $20 with most being a delivery fee. Last winter with both the tankless and furnace my monthly bill never got higher then $60. I would highly recommend Air Quality Dunrite to anyone.

A/C maintenance

Annual check up on my newly purchased (last year A/C) which was put in my Air Qality Dunrite- it has been great and the service was done by a lovely young man who did a great job and was very personable and careful-continue to be happy with this company for installations and maintenance

Install of a Furnace, AC and Tankless Hot Water System

They replaced a 12 year old system that was a builder special and had numerous problems over the past couple years. They arrived ON TIME, they put down floor protection all the way to the furnace even though I told them they didn't need to. The worked hard and didn't even stop for lunch when i offered it to them. They were very clean and courteous and explained the entire system to me when they were finished. I think the basement was cleaner when they left then before they got here. The furnace is performing better than I expected and it is extremely quiet when it operates. I also have a large bathtub and it is nice to finally be able to fill it up without running out of hot water due to the tankless system.

I would highly reccomend this company to all my friends and family as it is great to have a contractor go above and beyond!

Scheduled Maintaince

I have been using Air Quality for over 8 years, for all our air conditioning and furnace needs. They are always prompt, friendly, clean and reliable. Brian in particular has been extremely helpful. Not only does he complete his work in a timely manner, but he is thorough and professional as well. Today he took the extra time to show me how to use my thermostat more effeciently and how to adjust the settings on my humidifier. Those extra tips and support really mean a lot. I also find the office personell very pleasant to deal with and would recommend this company to anyone.

New boiler furnace, air conditioner, general servicing

WOW! When so many companies are lacking in customer service and followthrough, it's refreshing to deal with a company "Care Team" who set the tone for their service when you call their office with a friendly message . We recently purchased a boiler furnace (rental property) and air conditioner for our own home. Clean, efficient, prompt service and great "guarantees" .

We've been clients for over 8 years and have found staff to be concerned, knowledgeable, prompt to respond, especially in critical situations and a pleasure all around.

Humidifier repair/Air conditioner and Furnace maintenance

My steam humidifier was not working after being installed by another company only 2 years prior. Darryl and his crew at Air Quality Dunrite campaigned the manufacturer, Honeywell, to replace the unit at no cost to me even though it was out of warranty and Dunrite did not originally sell and install it. Air Quality Dunrite has once again proven that ultimately the customer comes first. Thanks to their great service, everything is running great.

Poor Customer Service

Up until recently, I was satisfied with their regular furnace and air conditioner maintenance. The company was bought out in November 2011. The company gives a 4 hour window for service calls. They have had to come to our place twice in the last two weeks. Not only did they not arrive within that 4 hour window, they also failed to call to tell me that the repair man would be late. When I called to ask where he was, the rep was completely unhelpful. I was put on the phone with a manager who was unbelievably rude. I am looking for a new furance and A/C maintenance service ASAP.

New high-efficiency furnace

If you're considering using these guys, learn from our mistake. We compared quotes from 3 different companies and decided to go with this company -- even though they were the most expensive -- because we bought into the assurance that we'd get amazing service and customer care. Wrong. First, they installed a smaller furnace than the one we paid for. My husband found out by accident, thank god, when the installer called him down to show him something else before we signed off. He had the panel off the furnace, so my husband saw the model number and recognized that it had a much lower BTU than we were paying for. He called our sales rep (who I think might also be the owner??), Trent, and Trent told him that he'd decided to install the furnace we needed for the size of our house. Okay, except that (a) our invoice was for a larger, more expensive furnace, and (b) we'd already had that conversation with him and wanted to upsize our furnace (our old one was smaller and we found it wasn't quite up to the job). The whole thing felt a bit sleazy, but they came and switched out the furnace so we would have let it go at that, except...
We had made it very clear to Trent that we wanted to pay for the furnace in one shot. Send us a bill. No problem, he said. But then we realized that a financing company we'd never heard of was making charges to our line of credit. We had to go digging to even figure out that this company was connected to our furnace. Turns out, One Hour had turned our account over to them. We had never received a bill from One Hour, and by the time our bank gave us the info on the company charging us, we'd paid three months worth of charges - and interest. We paid the balance off immediately (when figuring out the final cost of the furnace through this company, it would have been more than double - what a racket!) We called Trent and let him have it, and he promised that it had been an oversight, and he'd refund us the interest we'd been charged to date. Sure. We haven't seen it yet, and that was several months ago.
Oh, and the excellent service? Forget it. When we turned on our A/C the summer after having the furnace installed, no cold air was coming through. I called One Hour, thinking maybe something had been done when they installed the furnace. They sent a guy who let it slip that yes, there had been a note from the installer to the office that he had drained our system and someone was supposed to come out and prep it for us in the spring (it was too cold to do it when the furnace was installed in January). The installer NEVER told us any of this, and there was no note about it on our paperwork.The service tech also let it slip that he was really relieved we hadn't damaged our system by running it without the fluid. Uh, yeah.
