Our house had an oil furnace when we purchased it. For insurance requirements we needed to have the oil tank (was in the basement) removed and a new furnace put in. We went with a local company, heard about them through my spouse's work as they did all the furnace maintenance there. They are actually located on the same road as us, so very convenient and they were recommended. They came in and had a look and gave us the estimate (which we rolled into our purchase price) and we were happy because they would do all the work required for the job: remove the oil tank and furnace, install new forced-air electric furnace and upgrade our power line into the house as we only had 120v and needed 240. It's an old house. The gentleman that came to have a look (Andy, who has recently retired) was very nice and he even tightened a leaky pipe for me when he was there. It's family owned, so his son Clayton has taken over, also very nice. They came in and got the job done in a day and had all electrical run very neat and tidy and cleaned up very well. A thoroughly professional job. I only docked them 1 point because they didn't come when they originally said they would and the job was a little delayed, but that wasn't a huge problem.
