Mountainside Renovations did an amazing job transforming our 1979 era basement to a beautiful contemporary space. So when we needed our windows and doors replaced we decided to get Mountainside to do the job. There were lots of windows and, as we expect in BC, it was pouring rain most of the time, but the crew were cheerful, hardworking and professional. They cleaned up all the bits and pieces and left us with beautiful Westeck windows and patio doors. A big thank you to everyone at Mountainside!

We chose Mountainside Renovations to design and build a secondary suite in a house we recently purchased. The team at Mountainside made our vision into reality. We were very impressed with how the project was managed, beginning with the initial meetings and design phase, right through the entire construction process. The end result was a city approved suite that was completed both on schedule and on budget.
We dealt with many members of the Mountainside team and each member was professional and courteous, and was always available to address any questions or concerns that came up. The Online portal made communication extremely easy, and was a very effective way to communicate with each member of the team.

they warned us about trying to live in the house during such an extensive reno but we did anyway. All in all the workers we polite tidy and respectful, besides being excellent carpenters and tradesmen. we are very much enjoying our 'new' home and get nothing but compliments on the new look. thanks to all, the macphersons.

When we were planning this work to our 1975 vintage house, we attended a home-show in Abbotsford where Mountainside had a display. We chose Mountainside from a short list because of their willingness to offer a better design component to the work needed, as well as not seeming to apply pressure to get the job. When the work actually started, the carpenters they used were courteous and knew how to tackle different situations in the reno, but also fun to be with. The crews tried not to be an intrusion into our other living space, but knew they were there to get the job done. The other sub-trades also were quick and polite. When our original cabinet firm fell through, Mountainside made recommendations for alternate sources and we are very pleased with the cabinet company they recommended, not only for the quality of work but also their suggestions for different components to include in the build. We are now enjoying our new kitchen and are pleased to say that we came in a little under budget from the original estimates. Our only regret is that we did not get them to build our house in the first place.

After 10 years of thinking about renos we finally chose Mountainside for our "kitchen transformation". The design ~ build process allowed us to consult on every aspect of the kitchen as we moved through the reno, and Audrey helped us to understand why a certain concept or product would better suit our space. Our questions and concerns were always addressed by Jake or Wes in a timely manner, and sometimes in advance of minor issues. The project was on time, on budget and better than we ever imagined. Every project member and tradesman was polite, respectful and professional.

Mountainside Renovations have complete three projects for us. The first being a complete basement renovation that included adding a washroom. We have had them back to renovate our main bathroom and also to repair the interior and exterior of a wall in our home. Ed, Jake and their employees are all professional, friendly and easy to communicate with. The proccess was as painless as possible, with their staff being as least intrusive as possible. We were thrilled with the final projects and appreciated the advice and experience Ed and Jake provided. We would not hesitate to recommend them or have them complete another project for us in the future.

Mountainside completely renovated our kitchen from design to finished product. They used excellent quality materials that fit our budget and top quality contractors. Mountainside also updated the exterior of our house with new siding, stucco and rock facing. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The work is superior, the price is fair and the communication is amazing.
