Fort Moving

This company is horrible. I would never recommend them to anybody. Not only did they shove TVs in between Couches instead of packing appropriately but they also took it upon themselves to take some of my husband's tools from the garage. They dismantled 2 Treadmills and lost peices to them, I found some scattered downstairs, I confronted James but to no surprise- no response from him. They also broke a peice from under our brand new solid wood dining room table. They put 6 chairs up on a ledge of their moving truck with no strap, I told James these need proper support - he then got mad and swearing and wouldn't give me any time to speak after that. He was very unprofessional, sneaky, I would move myself before ever hiring this company. Some pictures attached for how they "packed" the storage unit. Disgusting.

The first time we used Fort Movers was 2012 from our Sturgeon County acreage into Fort Saskatchewan. They were efficient and great to work with then so we hired them again six years later - this time to move just a few blocks within the City. Travis, Adam and Adam were great to work with for our move. They kept their sense of humour, were extremely polite and worked so well together. They made a tough day much easier for us - THANKS!

James, and his employee came by and loaded my stuff very quickly and skillfully. They were professional and calm throughout. My items arrived on time and in their original state. James was also accommodating of some last-minute scheduling change that I had. Highly recommend. As an FYI, James is the owner of the company and he does the long-haul trips himself so you can be assured that your furniture remains in good hands.

Moving is always really stressful and the 2 gentlemen who moved me from my condo to a storage unit were so patient and calm. They kept me calm as well .They were very quick and organized - true professionals . The cost was also very reasonable. I recommend Fort Moving for any moving you have to do - big or small:)

James and his crew were well organized, friendly and very careful with our large pieces of furtiture, pictures and fragile pieces. No damage was done when we received everything. Arrived to unload on time. I would recomend James to anyone wanting to move a short distance or long. You will be pleased. This was a shared moved and this helped cut down on the cost.

This is the second move Fort Moving has provided for us. First move from Fort Saskatchewan to Sherwood Park, AB in 2010 was flawless with no damage and a great bunch of guys. Now five years later we again used Fort Moving even after reading some negative reviews. This time around (Sep./2015) we had a long distance move from Sherwood Park, AB to Vernon, B.C. James and his group again provided top notch service, were on time in Vernon and NO damage to anything. I would highly recommend Fort Moving to friends and family.

James moved me from Saskatchewan last fall & now across town. he was very carefull with our furniture. He was quite accomodating for us.
we ended up moving our date up a couple of days.

We hired three guys to move most of the contents and furniture from our Fort Sask house to our new house in Sturgeon County. They worked pretty much straight for 8 hours. Very minimal damage to our walls. Polite and easy to direct. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

This company was hired to load furniture into a moving van. Upon investigating the move the employees had taken cash and personal items. One of them kept a bag hidden in the garage and filled it up as the day went on.

Do not hire this company because when the owner was confronted about his employees he denied everything and accepted no responsibility. His attitude was deplorable and did nothing to resolve the situation.
