Our windows did not come in on schedule, in fact, appointments were cancelled twice. I don't really have a problem with the delay but phoning me two hours before the end of the day previous to say they won't b there in the morning is poor business practice. Lots of coordinating with the tenants, window coverings and moving furniture.
One slider window did not open or close properly. I can see where the windows are bowed and they tried to force them in. Installer solution was to add more screws and dig out foam insulation. Brutal install. He didn't care at all about the job and I think his young helper knew it as well as he left early before it was done. The windows were dirty and there was little clean up. Tape and adhesive were left on the panes. Silicone overspray was not cleaned up. The window literally squealed as it forcefully opened. Insulation removed from the window was not cleaned up. I refused to sign the release documents and asked to speak with a supervisor. Very disappointing given the previous door install and the thousands spent on this and other projects. His quote of "what do u want me to do about it " and I had to ask him to do further clean up. He looked at me that he's done, but really he's just done with doing any work, started up his truck and left. Supervisor came the following Monday and the issue was resolved, more so because of all the silicone sprayed in the window track on the Friday.
