I have pushed off writing anything at all about Mr. Mow It All for some time now. I have never left a review for any company or product, whether it be positive or negative, but I there has been too many problems and issues with this company to not say something about it. Although the price for the work quoted was fair, it did not work out as nicely as one would hope.
I contacted Mr. Mow It All for a general backyard/patio/junk removal job and they were very eager to agree to everything that we needed done. I stated on multiple times that our yard was very deceiving in its appearance and that it is a big job. They rebuffed on multiple occasions it was not a big job for them and it could all be done in ONE day. From this point on, it was a constant chase to get anything done. I had to email them to get the quote back (after being promised it back within a day), after accepting the quote I had to reach out again almost a week later to see when they were coming, and that pattern repeated itself many times.
When they were actually here and working, the work itself was fine. But after the first day I was told they needed to come back a second day to finish it all off. That was fine too. Then the second day ended prematurely (never got a real reason as to why), and then they came back a third day and forgot multiple items and left to "go get more supplies" and never came back. When I kept reaching out to arrange as to when they can finish the job I would often get no answer. I finally started getting replies after multiple occasions but with no admission of their own shortcomings but just made up excuses as to why they never came back. While I had texts, emails, and quotes that contradicted all the excuses that I was given I just let it go and arranged to have them come back again.
This time, they were to clean everything up again (it had been so long everything was grown in again) and to finish sodding the gardens (they started but never finished). The person who came in did a great job on the clean-up itself but it was not finished again. The sodding was never finished and the yard south of our mid-yard patio was not finished. I was told they would be coming back "tomorrow" to finish the job and that was two weeks ago now. There was some junk that needed to removed that they came back and got but never to finish the actual job at hand.
I would not recommend this company. Simply put, they bite off more than they can chew and cannot manage their accounts effectively. Small or not, time management is important with running a business and it is something they fail at doing. It is a shame as the work was fine when they were here doing it and they seem nice but those times were so few and far between that it is simply not worth it.
