I have never in my life received worse service then what I received at Home Idol. First they sent me running back and forth between two locations. Then they loaded broken materials into my truck. When I pointed out that the tiles were broken; the saleswoman told me that because the tiles were cheap I should expect that some would be broken. She then refused to refund my money or exchange the tiles!! I hadn't even left the parking lot and the materials were given to me damaged!! This place is supposed to cater to builders and developers yet the guys that are supposed to help you load your vehicle are wearing dress suits that are clearly preventing them from working properly. Absolutely horrendous place! I was able to get better materials, better service at the same price elsewhere. This place is garbage!

I though it was a good place to buy reasonable price building supplies. But at the end it was time wasting that cost me more money. The place is messy so it took so much time to find the products. Services was horrible, when I asked the store manager for help, she told me that you buy it cheap here so do not expect any services from her. I told her to be respectful but she closed my account and told me that she do not want to sell to me any more and told me do not come back and she called the police. That was insane! Totally a shock to me and all other customers who were there. How dare she treated her customers like that. Send your store manager to take business management course or customer service program unless you want her to destroy your business.

A must NOT go to place! Unacceptable return policy and horrible service!!!
Will never buy anything from there again ... no matter how cheap.
I needed to buy my grandma a new shower head for her new bathroom and got attracted by Home Idol's pricing. Therefore I went to check it out. There I found one that she'll like but the box was dented, so I ask a sales rep to please help me find one that's in good condition, just in case there are damages inside of the box. In return he told us if we don't trust them or their product then don't buy it here. I was shocked with the service but thought it was just the way he is and didn't want to be skeptical with everyone there and ended up finding a new box ourselves and buying it.
When we got home ... we discovered it did not fit properly and not the right size for her, so we went to return it. Resulting in us being treating extremely rude and feeling disrespected.
Not only were we told that there is to be a 15% stock up fee ... an unheard of policy but when we asked if we paid for it, walked out the door and went back in right away .. does the policy still apply? His answer was yes of course ... you don't even have to walk out the door. Once you paid the policy applies.
Is this guy crazy? He didn't even bother to explain or apologize at all. Left us there in anger. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!

This place is great for quality home building supplies at great prices. The place is quite organized and has everything from kitchen, bath, flooring supplies. I got a great deal on a s/s 680 cfm range hood fan for $200!! I also got some brushed steel cabinet handles and knobs at half the price outside. I love this place. I recommend anyone to check this place out. Their customer service is also great too if you can find someone. This place is busy too as my contractor gets supplies from her too.

I found cheap tiles here for laundry room and for my rental suite. The selection isn't great but the price is right. The service is also pretty non-existent as the sales people are also cashiers so they're busy collecting money. But if price is your motivator, it's worth coming by to have a look.

This is not your big box store, as stuff is splashed everywhere. The store itself is a mess but their prices were good. We found bathroom tiles that we really liked for half the price of similar tiles from other suppliers. They're really busy so getting help is a challenge. The sales staff are also the cashiers. Also, there are no price tags so you have to ask for prices for everything.

I purchased my bathroom floor tiles from Home Idol for a great price. The retail store itself is a mess and they have limited staff who are always busy so you have to be patient. Also, their selection is limited but if you find something you like, the prices are good.

I was renovating the bathroom. I got the perfect tiles and looking for the accessories. This is the store you should visit. Fancy and grant soapdish, towel hanger, etc etc.
