Their attitude, their punctuality, and their work was all professional. They were on time, worked quickly and were friendly. There really isn’t anything more I could ask for in a company. My place looks fantastic and I’ll be happy to hire them again the next time I need anything done.

Paint exterior of house

After researching a few companies, we decided to go with Ramin at The Fresh Coat Painting. We have had some bad experiences with other tradesmen in the past and therefore do a lot of research now before hiring anyone. Ramin was easy to work with from the start. He was knowledgable and provided great suggestions and was flexible to help us stay within our budget. He was ontime and showed up when he said he would. The final outcome was great and we couldn't be more satisfied. We would use him again and would recommend him as well.

My project required a bit more research than most might, it was an old custum house that required restoration. There are a lot of painting companies available but what caught my attention about “The Fresh Coat Painting” was that their website said they have experience in restoration and in the high end field. The work done was scraping all the old stain & varnish from oak wall panels, stairs and all the solid doors including repairing dents and cracks in the walls, to some arches and the paint work itself. As I thought it was not as simple as painting in a regular situation, it was a lot of work and for that I give them a lot of credit for that. It was a pleasure working with them and if I ever require any painting services I’ll be hiring them again.

Painting family room, kitchen, bathroom

I sent an email to The Fresh Coat Painting Company requesting their help in finalizing a kitchen reno project. The renovators of the kitchen took everything into consideration except the final painting which we understood. As part of the reno, a wall was removed from one side of the kitchen and new potlights installed so we needed to paint those parts of the wall that were affected by the removals as well as the kitchen ceiling. We also wanted to paint small bits of the baseboards so they would look “finished” as well.

Shortly after sending my request for help to the company I got a response from Ramin (one of the owners). Ramin suggested that he would be in my area in the next couple days so we could meet and asked me to send him some pictures of the areas I had in mind. I accepted the offer and sent the pics.

When he arrived I showed him the scope of work involved. Since we were only looking at doing some of the walls in the family and dining room plus the kitchen he suggested that it would look best if we did a fresh coat of paint on the rest of the walls as well. The quote he provided was reasonable in my estimation. At least it wasn’t outside of what I thought it would be.

Once he left I thought of some other work that we wanted to get done at the same time (the bathroom ceiling over the tub where paint was peeling and the foyer which had scuff marks on the walls from the shoes we keep there). I also asked them to paint dual french doors that lead into the family room. Soon after receiving the final quote I scheduled the work. I had a busy week at the office and the kitchen reno had not quite completed yet so I waited about a week for him to start so the area would be clear and I could be home when the painters arrived.

The work started on Tuesday (November 20th and was completed in exactly two days). The painters came onsite very prepared. They covered all the furniture, appliances lights counters and floors with a combination of drop cloths and clear plastic. The also spent some time taping along several areas. They moved some furniture to the centre of the room so they could get access to the walls and took down the curtains. I spoke to Ramin about matching the paint. Since I didn’t have a sample of the old paint nor any piece of the old wall, provided him with the swatch we used to pick the paint. While his crew was there I asked them to look at painting the inside of an Ikea cabinet that was displaced by the kitchen reno as well as painting doing some caulking work around the bathroom tub. I also wanted one wall in the front hall painted. I had done the wall myself earlier but not being a pro, there were some areas that needed touch up. Ramin suggested painting of the baseboards around the kitchen & family room which I agreed to.
The crew worked diligently for two days. They started around 8am and left by approximately 6:30pm each day. The color selection was bang on and the paint lines were extremely clean and professional looking. Not a drop of paint was spilled anywhere in the house that I could detect. We are very, very pleased with the results and would work with Ramin and his crew again in a heartbeat and in fact might because of another project in the house. They were courteous, professional, efficient and my home was spotless when they left. Thank you Ramin and thank your crew as well. You did a phenomenal job!! Hopefully we get to work together again soon.

Friend of mine highly recommended this company.
I met the head of the company Ramin during the cost estimation. He discussed some recommendations and I went with the paint & color that he suggested. The information and cost breakdown was presented very clearly and in detail. Not long after the estimate a crew arrived at the scheduled time. Everything was cleared out and the necessary setup was done. After the painting was complete everything was cleaned nicely and everything put back in place. As I said they came highly recommended so I had high expectations and they lived up to it. The painting we very finely done from corner to corner. I was very impressed by their workmanship. Every edge, every detail, it was all very precisely done, no uneven work, sloppy spots or anything of the sort. They will be my painting contractors for any future project.

We got multiple quotes for the cost of painting our condo due to being on a tight budget. We weren’t expecting an affordable price from The Fresh Coat Painting because we saw that they do much work on luxury homes but we were surprised to see that the price was very reasonable.

We’re both probably a bit OCD about things being cleanly done so this is a concern I brought up when we were getting the quote. We were assured that everything about the painting work would be done with extreme precision and it would all be extremely clean.

Well, they delivered exactly what was promised. The whole experience was pleasant surprise. Such work is definitely worthy of getting a review and recommendation.

We needed some painting done and we heard of The Fresh Coat Painting by word of mouth. We liked the examples of their work we saw. We hadn’t quite decided what we wanted everything to look like yet but we got a better idea from samples they showed us and pictures of other previous work. Once everything was decided and the work began we saw it wasn’t as easy as we imagined, they put a lot of effort into the process and it shows. Every room was repainted and the bathroom had wallpaper removed before painting. We’re quite satisfied with every room, everything looks great.

I hired ‘The Fresh Coat Paint’ company to work on my entire condo (3 bedrooms). They were very helpful by showing me a lot of samples and giving me ideas. They even helped me choose the type of paint to use. Aside from paint work, I hired them to redo my ceiling, it was stucco style and I didn’t think that matched the aesthetics of the rest of the home. This company did a great job with every room, it’s all very professional and I gladly recommend them.

I was referred to this company by a friend who had painting done by them before. I liked their work in his home so I decided to get a quote myself for my own home. On the phone I was given a lot of information and when they came to inspect my house to give the quote I was given even more detailed info about pretty much everything I can imagine that painting is about. Thay helped me choose what paint I wanted. Their work was extremely clean, it wasn’t a burden at all afterwards, they took care of everything and I’m very happy with the result.
