First, let me say that purchasing a home without an inspection is foolhardy at best; no one wants to be taken by surprise, especially when it can cost them dearly financially as well as cause health problems or physical injury to one's family. That being said, we had high expectations of Michael, as he was recommended by our realtor, and he exceeded all of them. We were extremely glad to have Michael notice an outlet that was incorrectly grounded (not grounded) and a moisture problem in one bathroom, which need to be addressed, et cetera. Throughout the inspection Michael was very professional and offered advice (For example: He gave us a time on how to increase air flow and minimize mold/mildew build up) freely. The hard-copy of the report he provided shortly after completion of the inspection was very thorough and included an overview, well organized and detailed comments, and the photos he had taken during the inspection. He went beyond what one would expect, double checked anything we asked about, explained what he was looking for and why, and addressed any questions or concerns we had. For his inspection and professionalism, we would very gratefully recommend his services to our friends, colleagues, and family.
