Service 4 Appliances

My laundry machine was dripping water after each use, When i called "service4appliances" everything sounded great, they said they would send a service person to give me an estimate for 80$ charge, when the guy came over on 23/9 he took a peak at my washer and said he's gonna charge me 200$ in addition to the 80$ to open it and check it out from the inside and see what seems to be the problem!! (Thats still not why im unsatisfied) even though i was starting to feel im getting riped off right there, i mean so what was the 80$ charge for the estimate for? To take a peak feom outside and figure out if it was smashed by a hammer??... Well i went along with it and gave him my OK, 10 min later he tells me that the pump needs to be replaced, and a new one would cost 180$, i said "do it" he went down to his van and brought a pump replacement with him then realised that its an older model, then he called the warehouse to check if they had my pump model and they informed him they had it, but its 230$ not 180$!! I said please have it ready, he charged me 435$ for the service and mentioned that the company will call me within two or three days to book another appointment, 8 days have passed, my wife calls them and asked whats the status on the unfinished service they are providing, they told her that they will call back. So they called me back within 15min to tell me that the pump has been received by them, wondering when qould i wish to have it installed? I said tomorrow aoon as possible! So the lady said "how about 8am?? I said "perfect" eventhough i am not a morning person but i really wanna get done with it... Next day 31st, im up at 7:30 awaiting a call, they called at 9:30 to tell me that THE PUMP WILL BE RECIEVED ON MONDAY (A WEEK FROM NOW) AND YOU WILL BE CALLED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TO INSTALL IT!!!!...
I mentioned the call i received the day before and that i was expecting someone to be knockin my door to fix my machine!! The lady said it must've been a misunderstanding, i called back angry and requested to speak to a manager, perhaps i'd get a discount on the pump or at least send somebody to assemble the machine left open so that i can wash my 9 days old dirty cloths!!! But no customer satisfaction what so ever!! I have worked within retails and customer service companies before, and dealt with many others, but this is by far the worst service and rip off deal i felt i have ever came across!!! And now i have to wait for another week and still need to pay 118$ for the rest of the pump money for this crappy service...

Find someone else to do the job. These guys are rip off artists. They charged $280 not including tax to grease some bearings in our dishwasher. We were told that the bearings will need replacement if the noise comes back...that will be another $280 + parts.

As everyone else I wish I had read the reviews before using this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was having problems with my dishwasher not draining properly. I call them and they quoted me the $80 service charge. They came to my home after looking at the dishwasher provided a quote to “replace the motherboard” in the dishwasher. He advised me that the dishwasher was not receiving the “message” from the board to drain the machine and showed me the way that this worked. He advised me that the work was estimated at $280.00 and when I asked him how long it would take to do he said approximately 3 hours. After approximately 10 minutes he advised that the work had been completed and that he “realigned the hose” to solve the problem. In other words, the drainage hose was kinked or blocked and he straightened it out. He did not replace the motherboard or do any electrical work nor did he even remove the board from the machine. Against my better judgment I paid him $175.00 which was more than fair for 10 minutes of work and for work that he did not even perform. Now they have a collection company calling me to collect $140.00!! I have told them I will defend any legal action they take against me and I am sure any judge reading this reviews will know that this company is a fraud and takes advantage of a lot of people.

Do not, I repeat, do not use this company for any reason what so ever. After paying for oven repair and parts. The oven is still not working and this company says that I will have to pay again to have another tech come and look at it again. The last tech said not to worry, I know what the issue is and call back if it doesn't work. Alona the so called manager was rude and uninterested in resolving the problem and told me I would have to pay before she sent the tech back.
Move on to another company. There are many more that actually give a damn.

I found water leaking at the bottom of my mothers clothes washer. I called Service4Appliance and they arrived promptly at the appointed time. The service technician took it apart and said it was the intake valve and would cost $280 and he did not know if he would need parts yet (which would be extra). I asked how he knew what the labour time would be and he said that was the standard rate. So I told him to forget it, the washer was not worth that much and I might as well pay a bit more and get a warranty. So I watched him put the machine back together and paid the 90.40 for the service call. I am writing this 3 weeks after the service call and the washer has not leaked once since he came . So what was the $280 going to be for. Was he trying to con 2 older women? Did he just tighten some hoses that were loose or what? Save your money and get someone honest.

technician came to my house to repair fridge noise, and said that my defrost cycle wasnt working and he needed to defrost it manually....which costed me $300. When he took off the back panel, there was absolutely NO ice build up (I stuck my head in to see what he was talking about). He proceeded and then after he left i realized noise was still there...called the company back and they said I have a fault fan (news to me!) and that it would only cost another $250 to fix that and they would only charge me for parts. I didnt buy it and called the manufacturer who recommended another company - the part is only $72!! And to boot, service4applicane said they were authorized dealer of the manufacturer - of course that is also a untruthful!

NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company they are shysters and charge $316 for a 1 hr call and still dont repair the machine. Then they want $400 for parts THE MACHINE didn't cost that much - VERY BAD customer service she was rude and unapologetic!

I thought I was the only one who got conned by this company"s technician ! My relatively new fridge was not working; the technician came, fumbling around for about 12 mins with some wires. Claimed that the starter was stuck and that he "unstuck" it manually. Then he claimed that the fridge also needed freeon to work. He wanted 280 for his labor costs! He should have been able to determine if it needed freeon or not. I think he knew in advance that the fridge needed freeon and that was the only problem why it was not working properly but he still wanted to make money by charging for that "starter got stuck" problem! what a con job . So many negative reviews on this company, I wish I had read these before calling them. I ended up having to pay him 80 dollars ( plus taxes) for the service call. Who would pay 280 for such a crappy repair job? Its ridiculous that some people think they can just take others' hard earned money like that..

I called this company to fix the ploblem for my Sumsung fridge, some water is pooling on the floor of fridge chamber. The tech came and cleared the drainage and he promised there will be no problem for ever. the work took about half hour, and I was charged for C$350. He said this is not for hour rate, it is a flat project rate. Unfortunately, second day, the same problem was still there, and continue now. I called the company, and the lady who answered the phone insisted the work is not warrenteed and I need to pay again for the redo service. I wanted to talk to the manager, got rejected, it looks like this lady is the person in charge. I really can not understand why this company is doing this to his customers and very disapointed by the service like this. I am writing this, hoping other peoples will not be ripped off by this company again.

Technician was good. On site for only 35 minutes to diagnose a failing bearing. Couldn't fix anything. Left with nothing improved. The std fixed cost for such a short visit with NOTHING accomplished is appalling.
