Service 4 Appliances

I would not use this company ever again. We had a problem with the broil function of our oven and a technician was sent out. He was very helpful and identified the problem as a defective igniter. He replaced the part at a cost of over $500. A quick test showed that the oven now had a broil function again. The next day, when we used the broiler for the first time, after about 10 minutes we noticed a lot of smoke coming from the back of the oven and could smell what smelt like burning wiring.
We phoned the company to request the technician come back to have a look at the problem only to be told by "customer service" that this would incur a call-out fee plus charges to repair the new problem as this could not be the same issue.
This company does not know the meaning of customer service and, even though the technician was very helpful and pleasant, their after-sales service does not support their work. The attitude and behaviour of their customer service rep was deplorable and at total odds with that of their technician, and unless they can get this corrected they will never see my business (or that of my friends, colleagues, acquaintances) again

I would not recommend Service4Applicances to anyone. I am writing this review to help people understand that this company does not in any way stand behind their work.
I have a problem with my GE Monogram fridge which for some reason has a problem maintaining a level temperature. I called in August to have this problem repaired. The technician came out and determined that I need a new fan. I ordered the fan and paid approx. $560.00. After the fridge was repaired I called back to tell them that the fridge was not working. I was under the assumption that I had a 30 guarantee. The technician came out again and told me that some other problem was causing the temperature fluctuation. I thought that he wouldn't charge anything, but he told me that it was a different problem and the minimum amount he could charge me was $180 + tax. I didn't agree, but paid him as I didn't want to cause a problem. He assured me that the fridge would now work properly. The next day I called back and told them that the problem was not resolved and that I was not going to keep paying the to "guess" what the problem was. The customer service people told me that the head technician would call and offer a solution. Needless to say after several calls and promises that I would receive a call, I never received any response. I wrote them a letter asking for my money back and they wrote back to tell me that they did not do anything wrong (no offer to come and look at my fridge) . As I had told them that I would take them to small claims court - they reminded me that they would sue me for court costs.
It is now November and my fridge is still not working properly. To add insult to injury my icemaker stopped working after the first appointment. I now have a fridge that is in worse condition than it was before I called them and I am out $762.00!
There are serveral other reviewers that have had the same experience when the original appointment does not solve the problem. Please go on the Better Business Bureau website for more information. I'm sorry that I didnt.

Called for dishwasher repair - completely dissatisfied with service. Contacted their office and they would not resolve the matter. We then registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. BBB has contacted the company a number of times and they have failed to respond.

Update: Since seeing Service 4 Appliances response to my review; I emailed the company a few days ago to have them contact me to resolve this matter. I have yet to hear from them.

Uri, arrive on time and as promised by the CSR on the phone last night. Uri was able to deterime the problem fairly quickly and provided full cost up front. He was able to fix the washing machine pretty quickly the drain pump was broken. Thanks to Uri we are washing clothes again today.

I justed wanted to compliment your Service Tech Shai for his professional service. He was able to quickly identify the issue with our washer. He gave us few options that made our decision easy to get the repair done. I would recommend service4appliances to all my friends and family.

I had my washer repaired because it wouldn't turn. It turned out to be a bobbypin in the drain motor. He showed when he said he would . He explained the cost upfront and was very quick at completing his work. I had to call for another service because i'm getting a OE code. Will update after my next service.

I called on Sunday and was able to book a service agent to come out to my house on Monday. I was given a time between 4pm and 7pm. The service/repair man was at my door at 4pm. I was very impressed with the effeciency and timing. Mike was the name of the repair man. He was polite and very professional. It took hime less than an hour to take my entire washing machine apart, fix the problem and put it all together again. He also checked to make sure that there were no future treats that could be dealt with while the machine was open. I was very impressed with the service received from Mike.

Shai arrived at my home at the time promised and quickly determined the cause of the problem. He was very helpful in explaining the cause and confirmed that no major part needed to be replaced; a simple hose replacement was all that was required. He provided excellent service.

Shai came by to repair the coil on my oven range. The service was excellent.He fixed the problem without charging me for additional parts, and was always professional. Thoroughly recomment Service 4 Appliances.

Our stove takes a long time to heat (Thermador). Uri came and provided excellent advice. He could have easily suggested major part replacement but was very upfront and honest. Great to see in this day and age.
