Diamond Home Inspection

This is the second time I hire Egbert and the work done was again perfect and met all my expectations.
highly recommend him , no doubt about it.
The first time he saved us from buying a condo with electrical issues in the unit and structure issues in the building.

We hired Egbert to inspect a home we were purchasing. We were reluctant to hire anyone as all the inspectors we've had in the past have been a waste of money. Egbert was not.

He came to the house prepared with all the equipment he needed to look at our place. He had a critical eye for the items that were going to cause us the most problems and require attention (either immediately or down the road). He was patient and answered all our questions and explained why something was a big problem that had to be addressed immediately and what were items to watch and fix later.

We got his report the same day. It was detailed with both text and pictures and when we provided it to the seller we were able to negotiate the price of our house down $7500.00 from what they had agreed on based on the issues he found. We now also have an idea of what priority we should be tackling the numerous items he found.

He was funny (come prepared with Dad jokes!), patient, detailed, professional, and prompt. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Egbert again and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a property.

We had our garage inspected after noticing some water staining on the drywall. Egbert came out and did the inspection. He was very professional and explained everything he was noticing and his initial thoughts. He was extremely knowledgeable and even had some great blonde jokes. Egbert was very detailed in his inspection and I followed him around the house while he did. The knowledge he shared and jokes he made during that inspection made for an enjoyable experience. We used this report to have an informed decision for our 1 year new home inspection. It really helped us to get some deficiencies in our home uncovered and addressed. Loved that the report had pictures, details and recommendations for fixes. Finally, Egbert gave us the completed report within a few days and we were impressed with the quick turnaround.

I've had an assortment of roofers come by and take a look at my roof, all reporting that it needed to be replaced without much in the way of detail or pictures as to why. The quotes to repair varied in price by quite a bit. Diamond home inspections provided an independent evaluation including what needed to be repaired immediately and what could wait for a bit. Very professional and experienced company, reasonably priced and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend.

Egbert is an excellent inspector who is very detailed orientated and thorough. He was punctual, efficient, and sent us a very thorough report which ultimately helped us make our decision. He knows his stuff, and also many 'Dad jokes'.
