When buying a brand new home, you would expect everything to be done correctly. Unless your are fully knowledgeable in construction codes, it is dumb not to get a third party to inspect the home. I have had both residential and commercial inspections done and this one is by far the most comprehensive detailed report that I have received. Even if you do not understand the terms used in the trades, Egbert includes pictures of the deficiencies and diagrams depicting the proper methods so that you will be educated and that the home builder gets a very clear idea that patching up the deficiencies will not be acceptable to code. There is so much a trained eye can see and so much more the average person will not.

Thanks for the great review. I hope as we continue our discussions on this new Parkdale infill, that you will be able to get all that you need from the builder to make this a home you can enjoy for a very long time. These new stuccos have so many details and there's too many ways for them to cause problems.
